Ive watched 1/4 parts of ep 27. And its so beautifully written. Yuan Wuhuo's and Li Jie's story is so well written. Like YWH(butterflydemon) being the obsession of that dying old man to free Ji Ling from this lie by killing him while he remains the evil side of that previously 2 butterfly twins and LJ carrying the obsession to protect Ji Ling and also the non-evil side of the butterfly twin. Also The butterfly demon said that since Ji Ling has died he has to go as well cause someone he wants to protect is waiting across the river. Thats so beautifull.
That ep where Ji Ling was shown along with his old friends, it made me cry soooooo much. Just how much pain he has gone throughh also his friends couldnt meet their family unless New Year;s Eve

i dk bout the commander tho. I only have weak assumptions related to him. Like what happened in shilin sect when that butterfly demon was held captive but that butterfly managed to swap bodies and killed him. Tho he is shown to be very strong he has no sacred power and at vulnerable moments, he is seen to be weak and unaware of the environment like his guard is down.
