Some people deal with stress by going outside or developing healthy habits. I chose a different path — emotionally attaching myself to K-dramas, C-dramas, and J-dramas for the past few years. Somewhere between coding assignments, deadlines, and engineering chaos, healing dramas became my favorite escape from reality.
I’m an IITian in India pursuing Computer Science Engineering, which basically means my daily routine consists of debugging code, surviving academic pressure, and pretending I have my life together. So after hours of staring at error messages, nothing feels better than watching slow-burn romances, peaceful slice-of-life stories, and dramas where people somehow communicate better than real-life humans.
I mostly love stress-free and comforting dramas with soft vibes, emotional moments, and characters who make life look calmer than it actually is. And yes, Lu Yuxiao is definitely one of the reasons — she’s basically my celebrity crush at this point. My profile picture being her is less of a coincidence and more of a public confession.
So technically, I’m a CSE student. Emotionally, though, I’m just surviving engineering life one healing drama at a time while falling for fictional worlds and unattainable actresses.
