Most probably mid May or June.
Yaa that drama featuring Park Jihoon I guess. Well in a way its nice because Yumi Cells is also a romcom & there's NO WAY they're going to telecast another romcom in a row. June slot sounds perfect, considering Jaeyeong & Jihyun's previous projects ended just a month ago. Just hoping TVING will do a lot of promotions for MMT, considering this unique sypnosis, thats all I can ask, for now.

This couple might have some of the least chemistry I’ve seen. They’re not the kind of pair that makes you…
The KISSES in this drama are one of the BEST, just like we saw in TJFH. That time also some people were complaning about the chemistry between PSH & KJY, but that didn't change the fact, them being one of the best onscreen couple of that year.

Everyone can have their own thoughts about a Kdrama & the couple's chemistry but commenting about Sooyoung's looks well thats not FAIR, here she's playing a character of a veteran fangirl of a veteran idol BTW.

Final Thoughts on Idol I-

1. Enjoyable drama. I liked it and thought the actors did a great job. Kim Jaeyeong excels at vulnerable accessibility in his roles. I eventually understood that the character’s persistently childlike quality was intentional. Initially, I thought that it was more a function of having been trained up from such a young age within a system, which didn’t allow him normal life development. But, I came to understand that the character self-consciously held on to and refused to put up a persona to guard himself, possibly as an intentional choice to hold onto himself within that system.
This turned out to be such an important and beautiful aspect of their relationship because though they both went through very difficult circumstances and trauma in their life, they both intentionally held onto this open and joyful quality of their natures, and when they eventually found their way to each other, this is what brought them the kindred bond that they experienced, even though they were separated by this role of fan and idol.
They were in the end just two people who had managed to come through the worlds that they were in and kept themselves intact and now can experience joy together. A hopeful true love story.

2. The mystery was kinda meh with the expectation set at beginning, I kept over analyzing for a twist. BUT I kind of think the mystery was just a device to examine love and obsession. The writer wants to show the extreme of when someone’s imagined love turns to madness, and the damage they do to themselves and others.

Apparently some people do not like slow burns and that’s so wild. You’re telling me you just wanna skip all the yearning, the tension, the blossoming feelings??? That’s the best part. It’s probably because a lot of dramas now a days is so fast paced so they haven’t experienced the delight of watching a slow burn romance.

ppl need to calm down in these comments, its not a porno
Well the 'IRONY' is, they'll be the first one to watch this drama. I mean the obsession to carry a perfect nice persona on social media is wild.

this being an 8.1 is a cancer to the society. i literally saw some comments stating that people are now dreaming…
'How this script got a green light'- well if a drama like 'Lovely Runner' with same idol-fan romance & the time travel plot could get a green light, with MDL rating 9.0 & became a massive hit globally then whats the 'PROBLEM' with this drama, hypocrite much??????

The maximum kdrama watchers can differentiate between reality & fantasy, they just appriciate the story & performance of actors. But if some portion of them want to be ultra pro max delulu, they'll be anyway, like those people called SASAENGS.

"Real love is cheering someone on, no matter where they are or who they become. Believing in them. Wishing them well with your whole heart. Wanting their happiness"- THIS MONOLOGUE. RaIk has finally experienced first hand through Sena's everlasting sincerity and that's where he feel seen and understood. That's what love is. That's the whole point of this drama. Thanks Kim JaeYoung and our writer for their job !

Seems like tonight's ep will give full closure on woosung's case so I hope the finale just focuses on the characters coming into terms with it, how they navigate their life from now on, glimpses into the near future with happy raiksena both in career & personal life.

Can I just say that Kim Jae yeong is such a phenomenal actor.
The Koreans valued (late but finally) the beauty of this man as the protagonist.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE AND PERFECT KISS WE WITNESSED! 😭💗
All that tension, the chemistry, what madness. Well one thing about Kim Jaeyoung is that he never disappoints when it comes to kissing scenes & his kiss scene with Park Shinhye in the judge from hell is another example of it.

IDOLI is not just a thriller drama, it's also a harsh reality of so many idols suffering from this obsessive fan culture, it's also a story of two broken individuals who finds their reasons of living in eachother, its also a story of healing and always keep going on.

I hope she ends up with the prosecutor and stays a fangirl. Would be a better fit.
If you had just said, they should only maintain a fan-idol relationship, it was still understood but saying she should endup with that 'Bully Prosecutor' who still doesn't have an ounce of regret for what he did to her, i mean MAKE SOME SENSE!!!!

The best scene for me from episode 8 was their whole conversation near the lake that made raik realize, it was person raik who inspired her and not the idol raik. Which makes his feelings more stronger towards her.

I have never seen ML actor before, had no idea he existed... and now I am sure we are already watching him as…
Well then you need to watch the entire drama 'The Judge From Hell", it's a masterpeice & the character development of both the leads were amazing along with their top notch acting skills. KJY even won the best male actor for TJFH. It was really a big break for him.

Episode 6 was a great midpoint episode. The plot thickens. What was Woo-seong up to? I feel so bad for Ra-ik who is once again back to square one with no one to trust, not his mother, bandmates, or lawyer.
