I think my favorite character in this series was Hu wenzhou, the actress did a phenomenal job I really loved the writing of all the women other than FL, Mei yinghua, the xie grandma, hu wenzhou and Jin chunqing and qingrong too. Xie shu was also interesting, but he deserves worse. I think his actor did a very good job of portraying him because every time I saw him onscreen, his ‘nonchalant’ demeanour made my blood boil.

That’s the whole point of character development man. She can’t be some white lotus , super adaptable 18 year old right from the start, can she? A spoiled super rich teenager comes to small town, you can’t expect her to just accept this new reality and environment immediately. In the latest episodes and the teasers, you can see that she’s adapted so well, the character development is good.
