A drama to pass the time...
So...I started watching this drama because I hadn't watched any other works of Lee Min Ho's besides Boys over Flowers. This drama was pretty enjoyable at first. I liked the whole wedding plot, and the random funny instances in which ML and FL were bumping into each other. Once they started living together, I found it funnier even though I wasn't a fan of how unhygienic FL could be at times. I felt like their bond was growing pretty good and had a nice transition from roommates to friends to actual romantic love.
That being said, by episode 10, I felt like there was a switch which is a common occurrence for me when I watch K dramas. Comedic dramas randomly become super melodramatic and this one was no different. The thing is, most of the issues aren't even that big a deal, and no one is communicating and everyone is reading into things...so exhausting. Now, that's a normal part of most dramas no matter where you watch them from, but this was dragged on for multiple of the last episodes, making it really hard for me to want to push through.
Everything resolves eventually though and gets sealed up pretty nicely with everyone going on their way. I absolutely loved FL's best friend and ML's friend/coworker and their dynamic together. Even though they weren't in a relationship, they were so funny and decreased some of the annoyance. Also, Guem Jandi's dad from Boys over Flower's was in here...I wasn't too impressed with his character.
Other than that, acting was good. I had no complaints, people played their characters well. Soundtrack was nothing special...I can't even remember a song, to be honest. I don't think this would be the show that you use to introduce a friend into dramas, but if you were like me and in between shows...this one was good enough.
