I am BLACK, so I know better than most what the KOREANS are going through. I come from a 3rd world country, I know struggle better than most people my age, I have been personally oppressed so I know the hurt from it. This is not my ego talking, but my experience, I have been bullied and grown, discriminated and grown, and you know what I learned from going through all that?? HOLDING THE PAST HURTS NOBODY ELSE BUT YOU. I find it more frustrating when people let the past hold them back rather than allow it to be an opportunity for growth.

The problem with people like you who make assumptions about people and state them as if they're facts,

Let's be honest, there is no critical thinking involved when people dig up dirt on others with the intention to ruin them. Disrespectful??? Nothing he said in the interview indicated that he was proud of the disgusting actions of his country during WW2. As some people have already said, stating you RESPECT someone like a grandfather does not mean you agree with their beliefs, values and actions. How many people out there have Grandparents that served in the military and most likely had to do some wrong things. You forget that during WW2 The Country was a literal military country in which FOLLOWING ORDERS was EVERYTHING.
