That's not the main reason, At this point, the decline in ratings for In Your Radiant Season isn’t really about…

What are the dramas you think are unpopular but of excellent quality? I agree with your point, and want to see…
I also saw your ratings of dramas you’ve watched and I also have a close ,,opinion’’ as you about them 👀

from the way you talk it seems as if lee juyeon is some popular actress or something lol.
Yes she is not so well known. Also in Korea there are a few Lee Juyeon so they cover her. Earlier her actress name was Lee Yunseol but she came back to her real name. To be honest I think Juyeon has the best cinematography out of every female actresses and believe me I watched many many kdramas during 8 years. The thing I really admire about her is that she always choose a work that is either close to her heart (like art/pottering, because this is now her only drama about art that she plays in! hehe) or she chooses work with an important message, not only about art but social issues!Korea is a very strict country so a lot of actors, especially famous actors choose safe roles while Juyeon isn’t scared to play in controversial productions. Also she doesn’t care about choosing a drama with a chance of a high watching rate (usually companies and networks have predictions about watching rate before releasing a drama). She might be underrated but she don’t take every role she gets just to play in something. Sorry for talking about her so much but I’m usually not a fan of supporting someone i dont know personally but I guess she’s an exception. From her works i don’t like Private Lives and Love Is For Suckers but i understand why she chose them. The rest of her dramas are up to you to watch if you click in her profile on this app 👀

Maybe because she isn’t just an actress? She is an artist, a potterist, a musician, a musical actress and she plays in theaters. You only proved that the issue with kdrama fans is you all support only popular people. Sorry that im not into celebrities i guess. ,,Great popular actress’’. People like you make good talented actors be invisible because all you care about is pretty face so most of those popular actors are talentless as hell

You weren’t wrong in saying this drama isn’t special but I’m genuinely curious how you think this drama…
Maybe it’s my fault because I’m only just finishing the fifth episode but it disturbs me how the male lead was in a deep depression for so many years and he even wanted to end up his life but suddenly he changed his mind when he got text messages from the female lead. Of course it’s not new. Every reason for not committing suicide is good. Life is very precious. But the drama introduce the female lead as his biggest reason to live. Actually, the only reason to live. Which is weird because we can clearly see that he was never interested in interacting with her. He rolled his eyes when he saw messages from her (it was right before the explosion). He texted her back because his roomate asked him to. That moment this girl wasnt that important to him to just suddenly cancel the suicide plan. It doesnt work like that. So since he rolled his eyes at her messages right before the explosion (because he ran to this university) he didnt have any time to like her and to create the bond but suddenly after the explosion she is his only reason to live. Also depression is a serious ilness and they never showed him taking madications or treating his depression but a strange person made his depression go away? That makes no sense. When i was 12 year old i started to suffer from depression I cured it after 7/8 years. I agree that love can be a huge motivation but its not a full cure but the drama script acts so..

Thank you for being interested! Usually i don’t watch new dramas that are being released from the beginning of 2025 but I’m very interested in art, especially acting recently. Also i don’t support celebrities. Im strictly into philosophical artists. Lee Juyeon who plays Cha Sujin is such a person. She played many amazing plays in Korean theaters (not cinemas) and musicals so she made me love acting even more. Thats why even though i avoid new dramas and popular cast, i watch this drama for her. As I said on the top, it’s not the worst drama but as an artist myself who loves depth i feel like they didnt introduce art so deeply. More like just for a plot and thats it. Main characters totally dont give off the artistic souls. When the female lead made her pottery I started to overthink it because Juyeon loves pottery and before I didnt know anything about pottery but for her I read bunch of Korean pottery books and I don’t think its possible to create such a perfect bawl after short time and when it was her first time doing it. But to answer your question: I don’t watch korean dramas only for entertainment. I watch it also for art and philosophy so If you’re also interested in that, here are some of my suggestions: Chocolate, Dear My Friends, Breathless (2003), Hush, Curtain Call, Fix you (controversial but if you can stand it then its so heartbreaking), Rookie Historian Goo Haeryung (acting is very bad but the message is very important), When The Camellia Blooms, Dog Knows Everything, Memory, Oh my geumbi, Someday, The Wind Blows, Life Is Beautiful (2010), Miss Lee, Painter of the wind, I have not done my best, The Most Beautiful Goodbye, Cats on the roof, Yoo-Na,s Street, A Poem A Day, Uncle, Haeven’s Garden, Grandpas Over Flowers, Late Blossom (2012). Thats only a few but most of them are boring for international fans while Koreans really appreciated them

I mean im not saying this drama is the worst but acting like this is a revolution among kdramas is too much. If people would be more interested in Korean culture then they would see more dramas like this and even better

People nowadays watch only dramas that are popular internationally and it shows. People say this is the best drama they watched while it romantizes depression, has unrealistic details towards medicine and repeatable plots. You all watch only new dramas that are mostly avaiable to watch on netflix or other international streaming platforms. It really shows. While healing dramas are super popular in Korea since forever. And you all always sleep on them because they arent popular internationally. You watch it just because it has popular cast and act like this drama is one of a kind..

So you support people only when they are popular? That’s so immature. Most of your popular actors and actresses got famous only because of looks and they can’t even act. They behave typically like celebrities. But supporting Juyeon has its good sides. She’s a sweetheart who’s far away from celebrity attitude and life style. She’s rich but she doesn’t brag about it. She’s not a celebrity like most of those popular actors. She’s an artist.
