Clever Storytelling Combining Folklores and Crimes

In my first attempt to watch AARO, I can't deny that it lacks of those "first kick" hook that keeps you going. First few episodes of AARO follows "one episode one case" format that Japanese drama usually has, moreover for their crime slash mystery genres. Hence, I dropped AARO midway before picking it up again five weeks later.

Second attempt is something that I didn't regret. Although it was late, the plot then discovers that folklore wasn't only myths. The God might look like us, or might not, but still around us.

From that moment on, AARO becomes interesting. The plot thickens around humane crimes and the involvement of mysterious powers that actually holds the destiny of humanity.

In the end, the series depict Gods as deities that aren't totally divine, after all. If they decided to renew this series, then I will sure watch them.
