your point is entirely up to you,but as a CP fan,I felt disrespected that the chemistry b/w the leads which is the major reason I watched this drama was called "not that good" and more so for an annoying SML,who had unnecessary screntime.

Youthful Glory CVB ratings is still considered very high(4th) on
the list despite that its a low budget drama in a provincial platform like Mango TV.

More people have recognized that the drama did really well financially,and holds a third rank in Top 10 mango TV dramas in 2025
It also won the 11th wenrong awards,all while being just an A+ drama. Congrats to Song weilong for carrying it off well.🙌

Hoping that more people whether they are Fans or antis literally look into Laogong debut history before making certain comments on him,I've noticed some people actually Think weilong is kinda new to the industry probably because his visuals get talked about alot more than his counterparts that he debuted with or maybe because SOM got really big last year.

He debuted 2015,(11yrs) into the industry, you won't call him a veteran,but you won't call him a nugu or a new actor either. Been seeing crazy firsthand misinformation and to be sincere,I'm not OK with it,This is why internet exists, for people to make research if they are ignorant on a certain topic.

Comparing him with actors that debuted 6 to 3yrs apart just because casual fans love to throw in his visuals when talking about C-ent actors does not give anyone the right to disrespect him,saying this cause nowadays I can tolerate any form of harrasment or bullying towards him,but I'll never tolerate disrespecting him alongside actual Nugu actors.

He has acted with certain popular actresses in China, some are his seniors,others are equal in debut while the rest are his juniors,Maybe people should learn to research more,instead of throwing shades where there is none,Aside the fact that yu zheng set him back,I know actors that he's literally meant to be on their levels who actually debuted around the same year as him,Hope people do their research instead of just blurting misinformation.

Lol,cdrama fans always overhyping heartless SMLs,meanwhile most people are dropping literally because of this same SMl,funny tho,say what you like but the chemistry of the lead actors is what kept this drama going, if not nobody gonna watch.
