Confusing storyline but good acting!
I enjoyed this watch but I have to say, the storyline is a bit hard to grasp. I had to spend time actually pausing and thinking about what's going on and how we ended up where we were. For instance, the background of the main character coming over from N. Korea was not explained properly and I still have no idea why the main character was so darned mad at the ex-boyfriend?! .. or why he was being blackmailed. I had to reach all the conclusions by myself which left me feeling a little miffed. The acting was really good though, I will say that, and it was a very raw representation of struggle. Also some very full frontal crotch shots (one very early on!), if you enjoy that type of realism.
Having said that, I won't forgive the writers for the ending... that was unclear and somewhat depressing as I hoped for something a bit more cheery.

Stunningly beautiful
This was a gorgeous movie to watch; the acting, music, and the storyline were just wonderful.A story of acceptance and enjoying life, with some very raw elements including homophobia, being true to ones own feelings, and appreciating the beauty around you. The cinematography was 'chefs kiss', I really felt like their love was shown through the beauty of nature.
A love story that spans years, you see their love grow for one another, their struggles and their unification. I will definitely watch again!
