hi! do you know if you have to pay separate for the express if you already have an svip subscription on mgtv?

i saw a reuter on tiktok where jinzhao is wearing a black robe, holding a knife to her own throat. i think shes talking to someone wearing a red robe that ministers/grand secretaries wear. anyone who knows what happens in this scene? spoilers pls

true i felt the same as you in your last point. now she has to maneuver and try hard not to offend yanyun’s family and now the grandmaster secretaries’ wives group but she prob knows what shes getting herself into. ig thats the price you pay for love lol. i know shes gonna win over everyone because shes the main lead (lol) and her character is just that smart but still i believe she wouldve thrived and remained happy even if she chose to not marry.

all the family members are ragebaiting me ohmygod from jinzhao’s paternal family then now in yanyun’s family all of them are such bad people. now chen xuanqing is pissing me off too like whats your plan here my guy? do you think jinzhao’s gonna wake up one day realize she wants to be with you divorce yanyun and run away with you? likeeeee is he crazy in the head? im close to believing all these side characters are created to piss us viewers ohmygod

enough time has passed i think i can definitively say i am bothered by the voice actors dubbing the characters and i mean most if not all of the characters 😭 the pacing, breathing, emotional inflections etc doesnt match the actors’ facial expressions at all !!! i hope i can forget i became aware of it because now it’s all i can focus on

chemistry between the leads still insane tho 😋

just finished watching! what a beautiful drama with a beautiful ending. this is gonna be one of my comfort shows from now on! 10/10!!!

i guess they have the rights to show that one extra episode since a splendid match is an original mgtv series? i may be wrong tho. still unfair i get jealous of ppl who post spoiler clips of their extra episode on twitter/x haha

when i watched ep1 of splendid match there yes! idk if they fixed it already since a lot of ppl have been watching. im gonna have to watch the newer episodes on iqiyi to see if it’s better

right?? i guess they dont care about their international audience 😭 i also switch between the apps. mgtv for the latest latest episode (which i had hoped to get lol), wetv for the understandable subs, iqiyi for the preview trailers with subs lol.

i hope wetv and mgtv improve their overall interface just like iqiyi tho :( iqiyi so far offers the best overall imo in terms of user interface, 4k definition, subs (most of the time) etc. the reason i am watching on wetv mostly now is bc when i watched a splendid match ep1 on iqiyi when it first aired, i cannot, for the life of me, understand what was going on. thank god for wetv haha

sorry for the mini rant i was just mad at the subscription i paid for for mgtv hahaha grrrr

i love this drama so much i cannot wait for the episodes to air that i actually subscribed and paid money for mgtv’s svip subscription but their app is driving me nuts. the subs on the last episode i tried to watch doesnt even sync with the video that i ended up just waiting for the vip eps on iqiyi and wetv 🫩

finished all eps today including the 2 extra eps. why did no one tell me the extra eps are just compilation clips with the first ep just adding some dialogue from qingcang about their life after the series ended!! i felt deceived i really thought im gonna get a few new scenes from them 😔😭

but anyways OMYGOD YOU GUYS this series is so good i cannot believe i hold off on watching this for the longest time. now i feel empty inside. why do i always feel like this after watching a great drama. now idk what to do with my life anymore. huhuhu. i watched first on iQIYI and i cannot for the life of me understand the subs so i switched to WeTV and the subs here are better.. they also translate the texts on screen while iQIYI did not…… too bad bc i really love the iQIYI app and website interface. WeTV’s app and website sucks huhu but anyways beggars cant be choosers.. ig i have to watch on WeTV and renew my subscription from them 😭

based on the leaks today and the past few days where theyre happy and kissing and all giggles….. does that mean we’ll get a happy ending? or are those happy scenes in the middle/toward the end of the series and the ending is still uncertain? huhu plspls i cant with sad ending dramas :((

finale. i had trouble finishing up the last few episodes cuz it’s all abt the competition and stuff but i finally finished everything today!

it was a 6.5/10 for me and thats because i went with high expectations and was left a bit disappointed by what i saw. i see this drama being recommended quite a lot and the leads are yang zi and li xian which are quite well known now and so my hopes are at an all time high (maybe also bc i just saw Flourished Peony) but yeaaahhh. i didnt really care abt the side characters and the competition that much. i feel like they focused too much on it and less on the development of the leads’ relationship which sucks for me cuz i feel cringe at most with their speeches regarding their passion for the game.. and i kinda blame the writing for that bc i usually am very empathetic towards that kinda stuff but that aspect of this drama did nothing to me. i also expected hu yitian to have more screentime bc i know theres a season 2 where hes the lead and hes also up there in the cast listing but omg it felt like he was just a guest role in the drama and it felt like he only has 20 lines in the entire drama which i found quite odd. hahaha. also also… why is it go go squid? tong nian is baby squid so i assumed the drama would focus around her but oh boy nooooo it’s all about shangyan and friends ugh. should be go go gun (his ctf name) anyways thats it i prob rambled but i just wanna express my feelings being i spent a few days watching this lol. i still lovelovelove li xian and yang zi but this drama is not for meeee. i really love their chemistry i hope they do a third collab hihi

episode 33. i guess all the frustrations are worth it haha. han shangyan is starting to become boyfriend material lol. it’s crazy to think it took this long.. we’re a few episodes away from the finale…. anyways i think this episode is the cutest so far when it comes to their relationship

also yang zi is such an amazing actress shes so natural on screen i love her sm 🥹

ep 23. does all members of Team Solo except for Ai Qing have anger management issues lol they be bursting screaming ready to fight from one moment to next idk whether to laugh or be scared 😭

ep 22. omg pls im so frustrated with shangyan why he acting like a total a** to tong nian!! tong nian is such a sweetie cutie patootie why is he doing all that :(((( tong nian doesnt deserve that kind of treatment…..
