i enjoyed the drama and i mainly watched bc i like chae soo bin but pls tell me im not the only one who isnt convinced with the ML’s acting. i just dont feel the love and the like that he supposedly has for the FL. it just wasnt convincing enough for me. the FL on the other hand…. 😩🩷 chae soo bin’s cutie and lovey dovey inlove acting is chef’s kiss 🤌

okay i finally had time to finish the last three eps! i really enjoyed the drama. the production, the costumes, cinematography, the ost, the cast!! omg. i just have a bone to pick with whoever wrote the script. i understand that they wanna create some sort of twist or “woah so this is whats been goin on the whole time” sort of thing but i just feel like they didnt do a great job of doing that. like at all. because they wanted to show a big twist or whatever, they pushed all reveals towards the last three eps and the previous episodes suffered- most of the time i feel like im crazy bc the scenes feel disconnected and fragmented. one scene theyre all fighting and the next is like they forgot they were just fighting four hours ago because theyre all talking normally. does that make any sense? hahahaha. i know they did that because they wanted to show the “reason” towards the end for the shock value or whatever but i just feel like they didnt achieve what they were going for. if they wanted the reveal to be much more shocking and have more substance, they should drop hints here and there throughout the episodes leading to the end, not cut scenes that makes the viewers go “huuuhhh what just happened??? why did we go from a to z” lol just that!!! the story is really good imo just the script that prob needs enhancing. this is just my opinion though, maybe some people like how the story was revealed and all, ig the storytelling just isnt for me.

still worth it to watch imo! i loved it and gave it 9/10. i think they were really going for season2 with that open ending but i honestly feel satisfied with the end. im sure im not the only one

also! i know the fans of the cps in this drama are like crazy fighting bc theyre saying the 2nd couple overshadowed the main couple but i didnt really feel like it. i actually feel like their scenes are much less compared to what i was expecting bc again, they were all over social media complaining abt screen time and all hahahahha. it’s crazy bc lu yuxiao and yu shuxin are my top two c-actresses i was so happie to see them both in one drama but sad bc of the fans that are pitting the two against each other

anyways thats all for my rantings 😌 on to my next drama~~~!

finally finished it!

i really loved the cinematography, makeup, costumes, background sfx, and ost! it started really strong with the chemistry and the intriguing story but towards the last few episodes it’s like they wanted to wrap everything as quickly as possible and didnt let each storyline unfold gradually (i read somewhere that not all scenes were filmed bc of smthn to do with the producer so maybe thats why the last few eps are like that?) but yeah i feel like ive seen a handful of cdramas where they start off strong with the storyline then kinda butcher the last few episodes of the series so it’s kinda sad

but i still think it’s worth the watch just for the ones i mentioned above but especially the chemistry lol. it’s a shame we didnt get the leads together on the screen towards like the last 5 episodes but oh well

still a 9/10 for me 😋

this one ep a day isnt enough for me!! im glad we’re getting our 2 episodes a day back

i think we’ll probably get express package by october 1 thats why there’s that 3 day break

yaaaah the eldest brother is handsome!!! he got chemistry with zhou ye too 😭😭😭

i love love love the comedic scenes 😭 i didnt expect theyll have some comedy in here. it perfectly balances the dark and heavy atmosphere we get most of the time

also tian jia rui’s evil smile is super scaryyyy what the hell

woaaaah woaaahhh ok wow episode 17 had me crying buckets what the hell??? this is the most emotional episode so far 😭😭😭 and also esther yu’s acting here?????? dayumnnn this is my fave performance of her out of all the dramas of hers i watched. it’s so so different from her previous works i saw. special mention to ai mi, zuo ye, and amid 😭😭😭 their acting here’s sooo chef’s kiss 🤌💋

agree! i can understand the flow of scenes whether it’s the present or a flashback, i guess some people are not paying too much attention thats why they feel it’s badly edited? or they really just prefer straightforward ones

finished it! i cried buckets during ep 20 and ep 21 wth. i forgot the last time i cried in a drama lol. the pacing of the relationship would probably be more acceptable if the episode number wasnt cut because with the 24eps we’re shown it feels off likeeee the flow isnt as smooth as id hope… alsoooo im not asking for explicit scenes but i feel like with the episode cuts (and scene cuts im assuming) the level of intimacy they wanted to portray in the drama wasnt really shown. but oh well i still enjoyed watching!!! 8/10 for me
