I think its important to give it a rating from how it's feeling up to this point because people may use that to…
I understand your point, and I agree that early impressions can be helpful. I guess for me, I just find it a bit too early to give an overall rating when only 2 episodes have aired. There’s still a lot that can happen, and the story can change a lot by the end. Personally, I prefer sharing my thoughts on the early episodes in comments rather than giving a full rating so soon. But that’s just my preference 🙂
This is a great drama, though like any other, it has its flaws. Some might point out historical inaccuracies or inconsistent costumes, but as an international viewer, those things don't really bother me (mostly because I wouldn't know the difference). However, what truly frustrates me is the poor subtitling. The bad translations and incorrect subs make it hard to follow the plot, which sometimes makes me lose interest in continuing the show
I don't like character ML, Jia Qi he good person for everyone (Friend , Family ,FL) except his wife he didn't…
Hey, I saw someone say Jia Qi wasn’t wearing a ring in the last scene. Not sure if that’s true though, I’m too lazy to check 😂 I get what you mean. I actually started feeling bad for his wife once we found out what was really going on. But honestly, their relationship feels very real, like a lot of modern marriages. Jia Qi is pretty quiet and super busy with work and all his responsibilities, and Yi Jun is also really focused on her own career. His wife is independent, but she still wants that kind of sweet, romantic affection. Jia Qi, on the other hand, brings all his stress from work and family back home, so he’s usually too tired to talk or keep that emotional connection. That’s why I’m not really sold on the idea of Jia Qi ending up with Yu An. They’re both pretty reserved, and I lowkey feel like she might not be happy either.
I am absolutely speechless, this was an incredible performance. The dialogue is rich with ancient literary quotes that add so much depth to the story. This is a historical drama that might not be for everyone, but if you can stay until the very end, I am certain you will discover exactly what I found. You’ll find yourself agreeing that this is truly a masterpiece.
I could never forgive the killers of lord shuiqiu, he is so wise and so supportive to all of the brothers, and…
I feel the same way! I was so frustrated and angry at everyone responsible for Shuiqiu’s death. But here’s some good news: after doing some research, it turns out the real historical Shuiqiu didn't die like that. He actually passed away peacefully from old age and illness.
Lately, it’s been really hard for me to find a drama that can keep me watching. But I started watching this series and before I knew it, I was already at episode 6.I’m not sure yet if the drama will stay good until the end, but their scenes already make my heart race and feel emotional. So I’ve decided that I’ll write a review about it no matter how it ends 🌷🥰
So is that mean they are divorcing? Do you think these two ended up together ? It’s kind of sad . The girl likes…
I really hoped they would divorce (and in my head, I kind of believe they did 😙). But I don’t know… it feels like they chose to stay together for their son.
I really, really hope Ja Qi and Yu An could end up together, but that would be extremely difficult. There would be a lot of moral pressure and serious questions about the age gap. Ja Qi is an adult, and I believe he’s very aware of that, so in that sense, I think the ending we got was actually handled well.
If Yu An never finds someone else in the future, maybe they could be together someday—but honestly, it would still be very hard 😭 (especially knowing how slow Ja Qi is).
I think it's natural for people to make comparisons. When a drama is a remake, it's very hard not to compare it to the original version. After all, dramas are visual mediums.
Even with adaptations from novels or webtoons-which don't have visuals-people still automatically compare the original and the adaptation. In my opinion, that kind of comparison is completely normal.
