lol came here to find people who are as excited as me in for this show but I was disappointed! I don’t get how anyone could get bored like the plot is plotting chemistry is chemistring so different from the average period fantasy it’s crazy. We have a super smart and strong FL and a tragic and cunning ML there is suspicion and banter and cutesy moments. It’s awesome!! It usually takes me a while to get into period fantasy but this hit my sweet spot! Great chemistry and a strong not over convoluted plot that is engaging to follow I love it.

Yeah my bet is they are gonna play it like is lady yin but I think it’s going to be her husband doing all of this to hold on to power. Also with the structure of the show this has to be a reincarnation plot like this cycle started with them and they are back to set the record straight

Her and Chang Ning are supposed to be childhood friends but I think she find it a bit weird too the first time and also it’s a family nickname so he is just calling her what his “parents” called her with mei mei. But he is def trying to get close to her because he is up to something.
