A huge poster for Zhan Zhao Adventure, with Yang Yang as the only frame, was put up at the Hong Kong Film Festival... apparently. That's where production companies like Netflix and Disney present themselves to acquire Asian dramas. From what I understand, to gain immediate visibility abroad, they're launching it at the same time as in China (also as a media strategy after the absurd criticism of Fireworks of My Heart).

I absolutely agree, and the trauma caused a descent into hell, both for the public image and on a personal level. In any case, many fans around the world, outside of the noise in China, defended the work, shielding it from the criticism because it was unjustified. Personally, I recommend it as a drama wherever I can. However, I honestly don't recall any film or series in the world showing such cruelty aimed at erasing an actor... totally beyond all ethical and human logic. You can offer constructive criticism, but this kind of bullying cannot exist.

The two protagonists are completely different in their characters and in their relationships with their co-protagonists, which shows how versatile Yang Yang is. And I'm sorry they stuck him in costume roles.

Cosumes dramas can be great,xbut they're producing one after the other and honestly they're not my best.
Costumes are great, but modern
dramas are where Yang Yang
truly belongs. He has that sharp,
cool energy that works so well
with action. A suspenseful, fast-
paced drama with Dilraba or another strong fenale lead is exactly what I need right

Hello everyone, I'm new here, but I've been told that you're very up-to-date on this forum. I don't have much experience with C/Drama, but after You Are My Glory and Fireworks of My Heart, which I personally really enjoyed, I gave them a 10/10 rating (but I'm Italian and used to American series, so I haven't really noticed certain gaps that have been noted in motherland home country). I see a lot of concern about Yang Yang's future (I think he should make a leap in image, taking advantage of his ability to act tough but also show vulnerable sides). Could you summarize your concerns for me, and if you have any spoilers for upcoming projects, perhaps not costume ones? I'm knocking on your door because you seem well-informed and sincerely concerned. With all my respect, Arianna
