Not true...after she confronted her nephew she then went to visit her adoptive father at his house.

I would say she didn't want to go back....to her adopted father because she felt like a failure. He'd pushed her to finish studying. And she refused to listen. So she could only go back once she'd proved herself.

The show is trying to excuse her cheating....let's be honest even if her husband wasn't an abuser. She was bored of the simple life. She got with him for the money. Once all her debt was paid off she left. Even if he was a good husband. She wouldn't have stayed....women would say she's being self reliant....but she's really selfish....not even caring about her own child.

I agree....the father isn't even forcing her to work for him or anything controlling. Just finish your degree so you can have better options. Maybe in today's age...education isn't as important. Back then to get a good job you needed it. And your dad giving you money isn't such a big deal either. Especially since her life kinda sucks. She was basically working in a sweat shop.

I agree....I know both of them have made mistakes. But she really should treat him better....if I were her I'd be worried that he might die. And she would have to live with the guilt of never making right with him.
