Brazil is home to approximate 400, 000 Chinese, 70,000 Korean and a staggering 3 million Japanese.
Even though it is a country with a large number of Asian immigrants, because it is a Portuguese-speaking country with a mixed culture, it is not common for this type of content to appear in the Top 10.
K-dramas are always in the Top 10, as Brazil has embraced the Korean pop movement more easily, but with C-dramas it is different. Only The Double and Pursuit of Jade have made it into the Top 10. I am Brazilian and I know how difficult it is for that to happen, even with natives and descendants living here.
If you are not part of this context, you may not understand this scenario. Pursuit of Jade is already a success just for having reached this level—at least in my country—considering only the Netflix ranking, not even counting fansubs and other streaming platforms.
