I don't think imagase is the one who will ask to go back but rather kiyochi , that's just my suggestion after seeing the movie's end as kiyochi sat down at the chair as if he waiting for imagase to come back , but on the other side we see imagase trying to get rid of his feelings for him but still not managing to do so , as he started crying , I believe he's got hurt so much he probably won't get back together even if he himself wants to , becuz he's afraid of getting hurt again , but that's just how I see it , I think these two will definitely get tangled up again maybe that's why they gave us an open ending
