In the early EPs, when the male lead almost killed the female lead to get the Riyan for his brother, which she got nothing out of, people were like, "Oh, he has his reasons, he's doing it for his brother." But lately, the female lead is getting blamed for no reason based on the viewers' omniscient perspective. Like, how is she supposed to know what he's thinking?
The male lead always just assumes things and does whatever he wants without talking to anyone, even her. She only sees what's happening right in front of her because she's not watching the show like we are. And the second male lead, in her eyes right now, he's actually good to her and hasn't hurt her at all. Meanwhile, the male lead and his subordinates, who knows if they're good or bad, just showed up and wiped out almost everyone on her side. Do people really expect her to just believe him if he tells her to? Her character would completely collapse if she just blindly trusted him for no reason

So basically, you don't like creepy stalker-type characters or behavior, right? I think the scriptwriter was trying to make the male lead seem more pitiful like a sad little puppy with droopy ears. At this point, his whole character revolves around following the female lead around. Meanwhile, the female lead has her own mind and doesn't seem to care much about romance. Love isn't her priority, but the male lead is the one who's completely obsessed with her🤣

in the novel, Riyuan is very important to her, but it seems like they cut these parts out in the drama adaptation

i’m low-key agree with this comment. The ml is absolute….in this story. He was literally going to kill the fl just to save his own brother. Like, seriously? Any sense of friendship meant absolutely nothing to him. This is a textbook, straight-up betrayal of both the fl and his own friend. A character like this is completely unforgivable. In real life, you’d hate them to death and never cross paths with them again
