After the village arc the MAIN male character became a side character, main female character initially had a story as to how she was becoming a general but suddenly one fine episode she is a general how and when no idea. Last 10 episodes was very poorly written. Main focus should have been main couple, but their story was rushed . Preview of each episode in last 10 episodes had main couple scenes , everybody is tempted to watch those episodes but whatever of the main couple shown on preview only that much is shown in the episode , short scenes , nothing more than that. Rest of the episodes concentrated on side characters. Even the ending our leads deserved a proper ending , but it was rushed and non satisfactory. Even the alternative life main leads were not explored.
So my question is were txw and zlh just a name sake main leads?

You cant add scenes after a drama has passed censorship, but u can definitely cut scenes that doesnt violate the rules. It was observed by the involved party that the main cp had a strong hold on the show even with simple sweet scenes and it always becomes a super topic and could not be overshadowed whatsoever. Their bts were getting more and more popular even when both of them werent involved much in promotion. Also all the videos of second cp was shot during the time of shooting only, this wasnt done for main cp. This was already a preplanned thing. The plot was also changed a lot which was definitely not in favour for the leads.
Even if the second cp became popular it couldn't reach main cps level.

So basically it was not censorship but the production or channel edited out the bed scene in episode 38 because in the leaked episodes everyone saw the iqiyi mark , so all these scenes had passed the censorship becauseonly after that they get to do final edit and then the iqiyi mark comes ones they get the copyright. There was no issues.
According to insiders the drama was favouring certain actors , the 38 episode scene had become a sensational scene , so certain people didnt want their actors hype to go down so got the 38 episode scene edited out from the episode. They forgot to edit it out of the preview though.
The show was also watered down a lot , a lot zlh individual scenes were cut, txw individual scenes were cut and their combined scenes including a lot of emotional and romantic scenes where edited out, thats y certain episodes looked clumsy. I think zlh and txw went through a lot of martial arts training for this drama. I feel so bad that even after working so hard they got nothing

Ewww second couple was yuck. They never could outshine the main couple because i see majority skip through the scenes of 2nd couple , so in which way do they outshine main couple 😂😂😂

I am in love with this drama only because of marquis of wuan and general huihua and yan zheng and changyu. Such a sweet , romantic and a hottie couple. Qishu and gongsun yi was also such a cute couple sad that didnt get much of their story. Also mr zhao and mrs zhao another cutieee couple. Loved them and i loved their cute fights, mr zhaos dialogue " should i seek ur permission to sneeze " made me laugh so hard. I didn't mind mr jis love for changyu i mean after all she has done so much for him and she is the type of girl every guy desires why will he not fall in love. I wish we had scenes of xizheng and him on their jealousy mode and fighting for changyu in a light hearted way.
P.S qimin and qian qian is such an overrated couple , they have no chemistry and what a yucky romance theyve and we were overfed with it that i felt like puking whenever they were on screen and I literally skipped through every scene of theirs.
