tbh, her character does feel a plain in the first few eps but that’s actually intentional. She’s supposed to act innocent and harmless to hide the fact that she’s a demon. If you keep watching, you’ll see her true side come out , especially when she transforms into a fox. Her expressions are on point and she also gets plenty of fighting scenes later on.

She’s supposed to talk like that since she’s pretending to be all “green tea.” Her innocent tone is just part of the act to manipulate how others see her, if you watch further, you’ll see she’s not really like that.

JJY isn’t weak, it’s her mission to act innocent and sweet to hide her identity as a demon, that timid side is just a front she puts on so no one suspects her.. you can even see it in the way she pretends to be scared to WWY, when in reality she’s a demon too.
