there's a scene later..in the cave like thing where Hai Xia and Haiqi are alone..when Hai Xia asks if she could really bear to kill him..she scolds him saying "Who told you to go there anyway?! You brought this upon yourself!"
When I say she wanted to separate them I meant..she knew Hai Xia would indulge him so she wanted them to go separate ways to avoid any problems(and the opposite happened anyway)😭

it will forver be a mystery as to why Haiqi wanted Hai Yan to go to a dangerous place..maybe bcz she wanted to intentionally SEPARATE them?
