You’re saying the scene was “too simple” and didn’t fit the characters, but you’re looking at it through…
This is such an off handed comment. Idek what op said originally but the scene fell short. No need to shame people just because you don’t understand that sex scenes are a form of story telling. I think this thing of saying ‘NC’ is why people equate wanting it to match the intensity of the story and moment to p*rn, which says a lot about yall then op. Sex scenes are written and acted scenes, just like any piece of dialogue AND CAN AND SHOULD BE CRITIQUED IF NEEDS BE. I might not share the sentiment but I can see why OP felt the scene was too simple because I didn’t buy that it was the culmination of 5 years of longing and yearning, I just didn’t care. Let people have opinions without trying to turn them into freaks of nature. TO REITERATE, SEX SCENES ARE A FORM OF STORYTELLING AND ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO CRITICISM!
I expected this episode to be my least favorite (and it is) because I typically don’t like kids in shows/movies, so that alone is not a measure of the quality of the ep even though it really impacts my viewing experience cos I kept skipping ahead.
That said, they really could’ve leaned more toward the yearning and tension in those moments of babysitting? I liked the episode fairly enough but it could’ve had more. It was an hour long and it feels like we got ~15minutes of BJ and LJ (excluding the NC, which I have words about because did they fire the coordinator who did ep6?)
Regardless, this is still a very good episode, strayed quite a bit from the source material and felt a little too abridged but hey, at least I get to look at JP’s handsome face!
I agree that they had better chemistry before the nc scene!
Didn’t say they had no chemistry. But FOR ME, after that abomination of an NC scene, the chemistry dwindled a little. Thats not to say the show isn’t good, because it is, even with that slight decline in story quality. ☺️
How is this?Is the acting, plot and chemistry good or average or bad?
Plot is great, acting is good for the most part— there are some meh moments but nothing jarring. The chemistry I think is okay, the intimacy is undercut by the awkwardness but I think the plot makes up for it. I will say I think the rating is so low because of the intimacy (how they were shot and the lack of visual chemistry. Honestly, it wasn’t great but I didn’t mind it
Omg i havent thought that this could possibly be AI. Thats really fair point, and it just makes sense (story going…
I swear I’ve been getting the feeling that this was AI since ep1. There was just something unnatural about the dialogue and it was bugging me until I noticed the repetitive moments in the story. I of course would never accuse without proof, so this is all alleged.
the writing/acting/plotline for the main cp is making them very unlikeable to me. I don’t enjoy their scenes and they are unfortunately so long and empty for the most part. That ep could have been 25minutes, I swear.
I’m once again proving I’m insane because I keep coming back to this and expecting a different outcome.
Why’s everything tell and absolutely no show? Like why is everything so flat and direct? Have they never heard of layering? More than one thing can happen at a time!
And the caucus meetings that they hold over the most basic of problems?
And who thought it was a good idea to write Phatsa as this overbearing overly familiar character? This is not how you create a ‘rope that binds the family together’ character— this just makes him annoying asf. And honestly for the character profile they gave him, it really doesn’t work because he’s written and acted like a 5 year old child.
I thoroughly enjoy the second couple, they are the most natural feeling characters on here. Granted there’s a glaring rinse and repeat of the juvenile jealousy trope from the main MC but that’s just lazy writing and a lack of creativity. But they certainly make that empty 50 minutes somewhat bearable.
I understand they wanted to ride the wave while it was high after ABO Desire, but honestly this production could have benefited from more time in the writing booth and in production maybe even a spent a bit more time getting sponsors. There was NO RUSH and we would have gladly waited. You know how long I waited for LUAT? Exactly!
I just hate how vague everything is, to this day I can’t tell you what business they run and/or this alleged mafia aspect of them. And it’s been 7 episodes. This is terrible writing and everything is going around in circles— which is a marker of generative LLM’s. That said, I’m worried about Love Scandal since it’s the same people handling it…. lol, @mflow, send me the script!! My fanfic writing a*s will fix it for you!!
I’ll be back here again next week, hoping for the best and expecting the worst because I’m living my ao3 dreams.
Think Nakhin and Ongsa win this round.. It was just better than Phatsa and Nakhun.. in the passion love making…
I honestly agree, I could never get myself to watch the other intimate scenes with the main leads. It’s not even about the ‘animalistic’ aspects, but just the delivery you know? It’s like they lost their chemistry trying to act them out. This is the first time I didn’t fast forward an nc in knot
Just watched ep6 and boy was that disappointing. I will say the second couple really saved the episode. I think boat and oat have been lacking chemistry for the entirety of knot and their intimate scenes have been feeling a lot like acting out a script and not becoming the characters.
Like that last scene of ep 6 was the first time I saw chemistry between characters! But I just wish we didn’t need to rely on sexual intimacy to show chemistry but it seems to be mflows M.O.
The story went nowhere as usual. We saw Phatsa repeat the same emotions and feelings as in ep2 without any growth or development. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was word for word.
The conversation with the dad about the pure omega was also a repetition of previous scenes. Sigh. And the conversation between Phatsa and his dad? Talk about going nowhere slowly, had to watch that at 2x speed.
Now I don’t want to say this because I want to believe someone put their precious time and hard work into this, but the script is kinda giving AI with the way it stays vague and always just touches the surface because a computer can’t grasp the complexity of human/superhuman emotions and feelings and its nuances. I want to clearly say I am not accusing them of using AI to draft the script, but it’s also something that keeps popping on my mind.
That said, Ongsa and Nakhin made me switch back to 1x speed!! Now is their love story done well? Hell no, again, attributed to my above point. But it’s THE FIRST NATURAL DISPLAY OF CHEMISTRY IN ALL 6 EPISODES
Honestly gave this a fair shot but it’s not very good. Not sure how but the story is both all over the place and nonexistent. It’s going around in circles and simultaneously jumping from one irrelevant thing to the completely unrelated next. I have a sneaking suspicion of why that is but I’ll keep it to myself.
By ep3 I told myself to take it as a romance story instead of expecting an overarching story… but even the romantic aspects are very poorly executed.
Still watching and hoping for the best, guess Einstein was onto something when he described people like me because I know this is not gonna get better.

I would have done without the half hearted romance and awkward kisses but it’s whatever because this is fantastic. What a sad ending to ep7!
