LJs inability to let his family take responsibility for their actions and choices will be his undoing. Idk if it’s pride or what, but LJ fundamentally lacks the maturity to understand what a partnership is. I’m not saying let BJ solve all your problems, but when you say you love someone and they love you, you need to learn to accept their help and let them share your burdens. I for one know how much it stings when you try to help someone you love and they just dismiss on some independent BS. He’s not trying to take your agency boy!!

Speaking of Big Jane, I miss when he was unsettling!! Like he can be a doting lover AND be scary AF! Why are they so afraid of writing complex characters? Not every bad guy needs a redemption arc and it’ll actually break my heart if Big Jane gets one. Like let bad guys be bad guys!!

I would assume she would’ve removed the prompt after it being called to attention— I didn’t go check myself but the fact that she didn’t dispute and then lied saying it was used for translation when the prompt quite literally said “ Please make the narration longer and more elegant, like the way we
did it in the beginning.” was enough for me.

It’s been a scourge of late, esp with mflow. Like I’ve read the most horrendous writing on ao3 and had the time of my life because it’s always authentic. Everything about this show and its novel is missing that imperfect human touch idk. It could also be that it’s cheaper to use a chatbot than it is to actually spend time writing and ‘making the work elegant’ . And funny thing is her saying it’s for translations when the Thai version has the identical prompt written in Thai

I saw that, which is crazy because that prompt was a clear request for creative generation… not Thai to English translation… lol and the same prompt is in the Thai version… so disheartening

Genuine question since I’m not a design expert, but I wonder if it would have been more economical to rent out a cheaper house and invest more in arts/craft/design to give the illusion of opulence? That way the budget is more spread out and they can afford to shoot on a public street 😅

👀 I can actually tell that the same person wrote the script. I think what made my stubborn easier to adapt is because they had a point of reference and a novel to follow? With knot being an original story I’m inclined to believe artificial intelligence interference given how poorly it’s written.

No literally same!! I will say I’ve also read quite a lot of omegaverse, though for me it was fanfic😅 hehe but honestly, smut is not always the plot, I’ve read stories that go over 100k words before they even kiss. Smut is the bonus me thinks. Speaking of boatoat, they were soo good in my stubborn in terms of the intimacy of it all, but somehow it feels so… not great here? Idk if it’s the animalistic route they took but I’m also missing a connection between their characters, even as they start developing feelings for each other as the show keeps telling us … like they are just genuinely acting.

I loved payback!!! And I think it’s one of those strokes of luck (and talent) to perfectly adapt a novel. Same with deep in, I had my issues with it but it was overall very well done! I guess that’s where knot fails again… the source material (or lack thereof) is not that good so the show can only be so much.

I honestly wonder why they rushed to film and release knot. I genuinely think if they took time to write a decent script, maybe acting classes, get more sponsors, this would have been great. But they rushed EVERYTHING and it shows in the work!

Unfortunately, they know we’ll keep watching, only time I’ll drop this is if my AI suspicions are confirmed

My main issues with this show

So since I’ve been told ‘the book shows more’ — like hello? The show should provide enough context without relying on the book.

Anyway, I went and read a few chapters. Now, I don’t know if it’s only the ENG version/translation or what, but that thing is pure AI slop. It had me closing that tab with the quickness of Barry Allen.

Second, this show takes itself way too seriously for the AI slop I suspect it is— the tik tok AI nonsense my sister watches (I tried to stop her) is better than this.

That opening scene was horrendous writing. It was just terrible directing and extremely 1-D; again why I deeply suspect it’s AI.

LMAO when Phatsa randomly said ‘here drink this, this is something we need to think over’ I DIED!!!😂😂 that character is lowkey unlikeable. And how he always miraculously finds a problem and solves it? Also their relationship is the weakest spot of the story— why it feel so forced?

Don’t get me started on the reasoning as to why Saeng is the culprit. Exposition and plot contrivance for the win, I guess. The funniest thing for me was 3 characters saying the same thing in 4 different ways in one scene (someone is out to get them)— know what else does that?

I enjoyed the little flirting in the club, don’t much care for NC scenes so skipped through whatever that was, damn does it have to be every ep?? Not complaining just curious. All that damn humping? Starting to see why oat said all that ignorant bs

I absolutely adore JameFolk and ThemeThee, I’ll be cheering for them from afar and hoping they get a better script in the future so I can support them. Poor actors, really just playing the cards they are dealt.

I’m disappointed because I was sooo excited for this show, and I for one, LOVE campy and trashy shows, but this is not camp.

It’s not even bad in a good way, it’s just damn lazy and empty. (Unlike My Stubborn, which was bad in a good way and might I add HAD SOURCE MATERIAL THAT WASN’T AI GENERATED). I would genuinely enjoy it if it leaned more into the ridiculousness because clearly they couldn’t execute the intention properly.

I understand a lot of people are swept up by the novelty of the omegaverse and just the mere mention of concepts in a show is sufficient but will this company ever grow? Will it ever learn from mistakes? A lot of y'all are leaving mflow very little room for improvement by refusing to accept criticism and proclaiming everyone a hater.

And I just also think it would be disingenuous of the production company not to disclose use of AI or at the very least its assistance.

I agree with everything you said. It’s all so jarring. And the editing is also taking me out because why’s it so slow? Like the playback is literally at 0.5? Had to watch at 1.5 x speed, which isn’t pleasant

Not to compare shows and/or actors, but it randomly clicked to me this morning what kind of intensity I was expecting for that end scene… the boy next world ep 10? The hunger and intensity in cir and phukan after some few odds days apart. The depiction of the actual act isn’t even necessary, if only they conveyed that intense emotion of longing with an actual emotional payoff. But then again, boss and noeul are hardly a fair standard to uphold so I digress.
