If they have a second season and the original cast returns, I just hope gjm will give them a simple straightforward happy ending. No amnesia of reincarnations please.. lol
That said I can see him kill off wsg as he is the protector of the world and that is something you can see happen...he would have to sacrifice himself to save the world from whatever evil will be there in the second season.
Saw some rumors of a season 2 and hoping it's true. Would love the cast to be back. I wonder who will be the next main villain...hopefully it's not Jiu Ying again.
Also if they have a season 2, hoping that we get a happy ending for both couples where they remember everything :)!
It was clear if the future wasn't rewritten. Shiguang was gonna try to get wangyan out of the tree since he had is sword in hand and looked like he was getting ready to charge it up to get her out. I wonder what would have happened if the future was not rewritten.
Would he have succeeded and if so, would he have sacrificed himself in her place? Would he have even be able to do so...
Anyways glad we got a happy ending after all. Mind you would have loved to see an extra episode showing us more of their future.. like interactions of wuwu couple after he tells her their story...their marriage etc. same with jiling and wuyi as well...will we see li jie finding ji ling...and also all the other characters ..would they be able to fulfill their regrets they had in the previous history.

Just saw a new YouTube vid with more details on the ending and combining this with the other spoiler of them meeting 3 years after and she forgot him, I see Chen dulings point of not a bad ending. Looks like the ending is open ended but probably more on the happy side as she asked him to find her again and make her love him again which he promised. Let's see if thats.how it plays out.

Ya that sucks ..wish we could petition to gjm to give us a truly happy ending...for both couples ...heck..I would be willing to take a written ending with no scene saying what happened after whatever final scenes they give us knowing that they have finished production already. Not a bad ending doesn't mean happy ending as well... Based on the spoilers out there of leaked script, its considered open ended I guess but who knows if what's out there is entirely true
But even if we get 3 episodes back to back, they will all be filled with angst..we just get 3 times the angst...lol
Then he is going to end the series with angst or semi-angst based on his reputation. I mentioned before he needs to change up a bit and give us some happy ending dramas otherwise it gets predictable. They all die or 1 dies etc
