THIS IS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER WATCHED LITERALLY WHAT WILL TOP THIS???!!!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVED ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. This is now officially my comfort watch.

This drama is genuinely so SO NICE and well written that I'm just...AHHH. It's so cute, it's soft, gentle, hug to the heart. The acting is great, the characters are great, the story gently flows like a soft stream down a forest (with the occasional hiccup...you'll see lmao). SOME OF THE DIALOGUES ARE SO WELL WRITTEN. THE FRIENDS ARE GREAT. THE MALE LEADS ARE ADORABLE AS HELL. IT'S SO WHOLESOME ITS SO NICE.

I think this drama took me by surprise literally in every way they resolved the plot, whether it be the romance, the parents storyline, Niran with his dad, or Niran with Judo. I think I really really appreciate dramas where they show the parents trying. I also really like how it ends on a super positive note for everyone. We need more of that.

I keep seeing strange comments by people who watch bl nowadays, and feel compelled to write something about it: it is not the creator's fault that you crave adrenaline or crave dramas with physical intimacy. That's your problem. A lack of the previously mentioned themes does not make a drama bad, bland, or boring. You just have an inability to sit with all types of themes, and therefore should pick your dramas accordingly. If you like fast paced, don't f***ing watch :)

Another thing, you cannot complain about cliche and non-cliche when you've drowned yourself in BL. You're thinking it's cliche because you've consumed way too much, and somehow think that being able to pattern predict is a fault on the creator's part. On the same note, a lot of you associate negative statements with critique. Just because you're being mean doesn't mean you've said anything valid or insightful, hope that helps.

BACK TO SEAKEEN <<<333
Anyway, these characters are so well suited to Sea and Keen that I was pleasantly surprised right from the first episode. Niran and Cheewa are such cutie patooties man. Cheewa's dialogues are insane and have me staring at the screen like DID HE JUST—. Also for someone who literally has characteristics of autism (like my guy is autistic dude its so obvious), I'm actually quite happy how much of a sweetheart they've written him to be. It's not a combination you see often. And on the other hand, for someone with Niran's backstory, he's so patient towards Cheewa, or like...others (mostly). He's a darling who's stuck in the wrong place, but WOW the whole scene with the parents is so beautifully done. ALSO A HUGE BOW TO MR. DOM WHO PLAYS NIRAN'S DAD CAUSE WOWWWWWWWW THE ACTING?!

The drama is fun, beautiful, adorable, well acted, well written, lighthearted but gives a squeeze to the heart multiple times, and you'll really find yourself smiling at the screen for the most part.

134340/10, GO WATCH

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, LOVE SEEING SEA AS SEA'S BROTHER LOL. I think it's very interesting how you can sort of attribute parts of their personalities to the male figures in their lives. Niran—who's Dad has been pretty mean with his words uptil a certain point—and his short tempered-ness. And Cheewa—who's elder brother is the epitome of gentleness—and the way he shows care towards Niran and others.
