Title The Gaze
The rating is low and the comments are mostly negative. I'm curious to watch this drama, is the story really badly…
I think people are being a bit too harsh on it. Yes, the athlete/physiotherapist setup is similar to Jinx, but that's where most of the similarities end. They changed the plot quite a bit instead of copying the manhwa. It's definitely not a masterpiece, and the story is pretty predictable. The chemistry between the leads is also a bit lacking. That said, it's still a decent one-time watch. If you don't have anything else to watch that day, it's an okay series to pass the time.

Knowing Up's acting, this restraining is 100% for the role. He plays a gay policeman who is hiding his sexuality…
I understand the restraint is intentional because of his character’s background, family, and profession, and I do think Up is acting well. I just personally feel that in some emotional, interrogation, or intimate scenes, a little more facial expression or visible emotion could make the tension and chemistry stronger. But that’s just my opinion — I respect your view too.

On Love of Silom May 10, 2026
I’m really liking Love of Silom so far. The policeman and bar host dynamic feels fresh, and the chemistry between the characters is really good. The storyline and overall vibe are engaging and emotional.

Poom’s acting especially stands out to me because his expressions and emotions feel very natural. For Up, I feel like he’s still a bit restrained in some scenes, and a little more emotional expression could make his performance even stronger. But overall, the drama is genuinely interesting and has a very mature, slow-burn feel that makes you want to keep watching.
