I think it’s because she wasn’t blind until that point. She became blind went back to the past, then came back to that point, kind of like a loop if that makes sense

I understand that now, but I still don’t know why chi wen allowed it, isn’t he suppose to be very benevolent? How could he let an innocent suffer like that in his own residence?

Seriously, we were so close I could feel it but they have to mess up at the end😩😩

Hopefully there are no other obvious plot issues at the end

Man the drama till now was so nice, the plot seemed so well-written and now this, just why? 😒

Also, does anyone know why he was keeping ji ling captive in the first place and just why did chi wen allow it?

Plot wise this is the weakest episode yet, the idea was there but they way it was written…7/10

lol, maybe. Hopefully even if it’s a sad ending this time it’s at least good, I don’t mind tragedy but it should at least be well-written

Guyssss!!!! I’m devastated, why are they putting JiLu through this?? It hurts, I started crying today when lu wu yo kept calling ji king’s name again and again, the actress’s voice at that moment has so much emotion. This is the first drama I watched with ju jingyi and she’s truly phenomenal in this role

OMG yesss!!!! It would fit them very well and we could have a happy ending, since this director is allergic to them.
