Why does zee have to play such spiteful characters in every few straight dramas I watch...

Those flashbacks are from when Shen Mo had amnesia (my 4th point), he thought Ji MIng Xuan was Zhou Yang. Shen Mo and Ji Ming Xuan actually never truly got together (they were bonded by the contract, after forgetting those happy 6 months and Shen Mo had no idea how much Ji Ming Xuan liked him). That's why Ji Ming Xuan feels incredibly happy whenever Shen Mo calls him Ming Xuan.

You aren't right actually. From what I've understood,

1. Shen Mo got beaten up right after Zhou Yang left or something like that.
2. Ji Ming Xuan went to look for him, saved him.
3. Shen Mo then went to see his parents and they were upset with him so he ate a lot of seafood which he's allergic to. From the previous trauma and physical pain both caused him amnesia.
4. Ji Ming Xuan again took Shen Mo to hospital and this time Shen Mo believed Zhou Yang was with him while forgetting he was attacked. This continued for 6 months.
5. After 6 months he regained those traumatic memories and forgot those happy 6 months he spent with Ji Ming Xuan. Then Ji Ming Xuan made a contract with him. It continued to the present time till Zhou Yang came back.

They clearly changed the whole story and not just words (I can tell by hearing it alone the translation isn't wrong). The scenes in the next episode's preview never existed in the other adaptation.

In the thai adaptation he had agreed to date a girl because he couldn't say no to her proposal. But they broke up before the story started and she didn't cause any troubles afterwards, she kinda helped them on the contrary. Guess this version wanted to do something different.

Whaaat just happened??!! That last sentence should've been in the past tense. Though it is bringing some new turns in the story which isn't so bad.

It seems they presented Luqing as a smart person then how is it that he can't see that little duckling likes him??? Out of all people he shouldn't be doubting him. Yet he did anyway from the beginning.

The pace is so satisfying. Already loving this one. And I can't be the only one who's finding Harutora's looks kinda similar to Yoh from My Personal Weatherman.

That girl in red jacket was better off gone before the apocalypse even started. Why are we seeing such characters in the big 2026? The whole thing wasn't particularly any good either. Se Jeong literally carried the whole thing alone.
