How many more tencent dramas left to be premiered in later part of the year? Tencent is giving this drama least priority or maybe they forgot this drama really exist. Against the current which was filmed months after this is releasing next.

That's what I'm going to do.. The synopsis and the motion poster is focused solely on the leads but they are involving sml too much for my comfort..like he is everywhere with them..it doesn't looks like a couple story anymore it's like two guys fighting over a girl sorry to say

Are there any Ao chi and Sha luo scenes without zi miao lurking around them? Whatever reuters I'm seeing he is always there and sometimes it feels like ao chi is third wheeling. What's this drama even about?

Initially it started off well but they unnecessary brought this zhongwan story of the fl..

I agree!! That zhongwan plot kind of ruined this show. It was unnecessary. Don't know what was their thought process

That scene was powerful where the emperor voluntarily accepts flogging to repeal an ancient law banning romance between ruler and nobles so he can marry the fl. Masterpiece scene for me and zheyuan acted so well. Only take a way for me from the end episodes

C drama now a days don't follow the novel much they just gets inspiration from novel that's it and then they change the story however they want

Czy is doing a great job as an emperor here and his acting is the only saving grace for me of this show but his screentime is so less than even the side characters in most of the episodes. I find all the couple romance of this show awkward and embarrassing. I'm more interested in the court scenes than romance

May be they aren't her fans because it's stupid to ship fl with Sml/villain. They aren't really thinking about her character in the drama but just riding on their fantasy ship.. because no real fan wants to see fl being pendulum

Exactly! They for sure revived the script benefiting the sml. Iqiyi was so evil to chen zheyuan like they appointed a new brand ambassador way before his contract got over..they always disrespect him

I think Ao chi as a character doesn't require ship to stay relevant in the drama like his character is super strong and best from others as what I read from script readers.. tbh I also feel wcr and deng kai looks perfect together and hope they end up together 😆👍🏻
