maybe because u only focused on his face instead of his actions. from the get go, he doesn't sugarcoat his words…
he isn't good looking for me if you compare him to other actors of his age. And his character is boring as hell

So much unnecessary and dare I say misogynistic hate for my girl Jae-in who was a Pio truther from Day 1. God…
she is the greenest flag female lead ever. I apprecite how she stayed for pio in his ups and downs.

Jeong yo lost one hand, lost his bright future of becoming a great pianist and felt betrayed by his best friend, Pio. And the culprit? Yeahhh she gets a happy ending with a lovey dovey love life

Its interesting how much hate there is for the mother, when Grandpa was by far the worst of them all.
Still not redeemable, in my opinion. You have to consider Jeong-yo’s POV too—he lost everything because of what she did. And what about the grandfather? It doesn’t give her the right to do that to that kid just because of their issues. Wrongdoings shouldn’t be excused or tolerated, especially when she almost killed that kid. That child had a right to life and and she took that away from him. That’s basic human rights. It is just not right at all.

talking about redemption arcs of the mother. We Are All Trying Here did so good with that bitch mother of the female lead. It was written so well, she did not get the redemption, I hope writers will learn from Park Hae Young, and stop this cliche redemption for villains who doesnt even deserve it.

She got a bf 🤣😭
it doesnt feel right.I am okay with him playing at church as long as he is happy and got the justice he deserves but instead the punishment for the mother was like so light and doesn't feel right.

The mom getting a better happy ending than Jeongyo. Jeongyo had to settle to being a choir director and give up…
in stories, it's not always a happy ending for everyone and that's okay.

Guys, it’s okay that we didn’t get a hug. It’s an open ending. Pio is living with Jeong yo in a country (czech) where same sex marriage is legal 🤣they’re settled, they’re happy and that’s all the closure we’re getting 😂😂😂

But seriously though, the drama gave us such an emotional and meaningful ending and y’all are complaining because they didn’t get a hug? Don’t be silly.

I don’t think the actor’s character is life changing, as you described. Aside from the fact that I don’t find him attractive, his character’s personality is also boring. He’s rude and doesn’t have a personality that matches the FL’s. I don’t mean he has to have the same personality as the FL, but the writing is lacking when it comes to developing his character and to make me like him.

His character is boring and plain and so is his acting. But whatever, my main point is that the casting feels unrealistic. I’m sorry, but my standard for a good looking actor is not someone like him. He doesn’t look masculine to me, his body looks soft/flimsy, he doesn’t have strong facial features and he does look somewhat manufactured, especially his nose, which bothers me.

I think the male lead is miscast. If they had cast a different actor for the younger version, maybe the shitty writing could have been somewhat saved. Most viewers like watching dramas with visually appealing casts anyway.

I decided to start watching this because I was mesmerised by the female lead of we are all trying here and want to see more of her. I'm on ep 5, isn't it too unrealistic that this gorgeous young lady chases an old guy who is not even attractive? if they could have casted different actor who is young and handsome maybe that would be a cute story. I don't know if I will continue watching this cause her chasing this old guy aint for me.

Person Won Gyu Bin
I think the company must be run by former agency agents, or have worked at major agencies before. There's no way…
lol the actor passed the audition, why are you discrediting that.Who knows his agency mates also auditions for the roles.

Didn't like s1.Beside awfully unstructured storytelling style filled with flashback after flashback...The drama…
Your hate comment feels so forced. Did you actually watch the drama or did you just fail to understand it?
