There’s a reason why this became a global hit

Despite the weak second half of this series storyline, this has overall created a very enjoyable watching experience for me as a casual viewer who was not able to read it’s novel counterpart. All the cast gave us exemplary performance and they did their part really well and very convincingly. I’d say this is one of the series where you could really say that the actors were casted perfectly.

One of the best healing chinese drama I have watched. No complicated storyline, no drama that takes long to be resolved. This drama is not one for those who want eventful, fast-paced story. This one takes you to the mundane, everyday life of normal people, which includes their workplace, families, and daily struggles. The cinematography alone heals you — with all those different kinds of flowers, mahestic sceneries, and healing TCM stuff which has got my interest to learn.
