KTTPH is honestly one of the best stories I’ve ever watched in C-dramas. The entire cast delivered incredible performances to bring the story to life, but Xiao Wuyi was truly the anchor of it all. Even at just 28 episodes, the pacing never slowed down for a single second—it kept its momentum from Episode 1 right through to the very end. Xiao Wuyi was portrayed so authentically; whenever he was in pain, my heart hurt for him, and during those timid, cautious moments when he allowed himself to be happy, I felt that exact same joy right alongside him. Instead of standard kiss scenes, simple comforting gestures like a gentle pat on the hand brought so much reassurance—not just to Xie Jiayu, but to us as viewers. That’s just the incredible sense of warmth and security in Xiao Wuyi’s aura. I highly recommend everyone give this a watch!
