The Fl wasn't marrying li cong xin out of anger LMAO, She chose him because he promised to help her get her revenge if she married him, she chose revenge over love which is a very reasonable thing to do. And why are you blaming her for the ruined wedding? She was literally kidnapped and almost died, that's why she couldn't make it on time to the wedding. Feeling sorry for li cong xin is wild because bro knew she didn't love him and still wanted her to marry him, he also wanted her to become a concubine when the marriage fell through because he had already married her sister even after knowing that that she was trying to get revenge for her mother who died as a concubine, I do not feel sorry for him at all, the only reason he even liked her was because she didn't want him.

How was this an intense enemies to lovers 😭😭. This is my favorite C drama but I can admit it didn't deliver at all on the enemies to lovers trope, Feng suige and yixiao were already in love by the third episode after that flogging Forest scene 😂😂 They were already giving each other lovey eyes by episode 4, Even when Feng suige saw yixiao's painting for the first time, you could see the stars in his eyes 😭😭, it's just my opinion but the enemies part wasn't intense at all, prisoner of beauty did a better job with the enemies to lovers trope

I don't think he's a creep 😭😭 but his actions are definitely questionable. I agree, the only reason bro wanted to marry FL was because she didn't want him, he was definitely not in love with her and their marriage wouldn't have lasted, the fact that he was willing to let her become a concubine even after knowing what happened to her mother and how she was trying to get revenge for it is proof that he wasn't serious. And he definitely strung the 2nd sister along, the girl was delulu too but he contributed a lot to her deluluness. People in the comments saying they feel sorry for him need to open their eyes, there's nothing to feel sorry for.

There is a love triangle, maybe a love square😂😂, It wasn't too bad because everybody knew who they liked and stuck to it, the only time someone wavered was When the Fl was trying to use the 2ML purely for selfish reasons
If by together you mean dating... maybe halfway through... they were kinda just dancing around each other for most of the series. But if you mean married, it's way further down

Ra on was just there to be the prince's love interest. My girl really gave us nothing, she made zero decisions and contributed absolutely nothing to the plot and she's supposed to be the main character 😭😭. The prince and the side characters carried everything from beginning to end, all Ra on did was be scared and pretty, nothing else. It was a great series overall, the prince really deserved the throne at the end, the romance was just not it because everything would have been easier without it, Ra on was just a very loved burden.

It was definitely better than xianxia. I don't like watching Chinese Xianxia so I was skeptical about watching this but I surprisingly enjoyed it, I never got bored or confused like I usually do when watching Chinese Xianxia

This is just The east palace but with a reasonable king and more romance, the plot is almost the same.

I think the selling part means that if he stays willingly, the mafia guy will consider the father's debts paid, so yes it's packaged prostitution 😂😂 I'm guessing he stays willingly because he too wants the debts cleared. I don't remember much about the pilot video or the dignity part but I think it's just a way of creating tension because bro had no dignity left the moment he was sold 😂 Most of these sold to the mafia novels and adaptations throw common sense out the window so to enjoy them, you have to turn off the part of your brain temporarily 😂😂

I don't know what it is that made me like this drama so much that I rewatched it from beginning to end, I rarely rewatch dramas and Even if I do, I usually only watch the first or second half, this is the first and only drama I rewatched from First to last episode. It's not even my type of drama, I usually prefer dramas with more conflicts, war and drama but there's just something about this series that I can't put my finger on that makes it so satisfying to watch😩😩 I can't tell you why but it's a great watch 👏👏
