Watched all 17 episodes. It's not really a revenge drama per se, it's just about a girl that desperately wants to live a good life and survive. And I think half of her smartness comes from her plot armor

Ikr, there are a lot of comments condemning him for pursuing his friends wife but lu zhou made it clear he didn't want the marriage initially and qi zhongkai knew she wasn't jundai, he probably thought they wouldn't work out

Everybody is talking about how qi zhongkai is trying to snatch his friends wife, maybe I missed something but I don't think he has done anything serious besides getting too close to her.
Yes it's obvious he likes her but that was when everyone thought she wasn't the real wei rao plus he knew lu zhou didn't want to marry her (in the beginning). I'm not saying this just to argue, I'm genuinely confused, what exactly did he do?

Did I miss something? What did Qi zhongkai do? Can you explain what you mean by covering Achou, What did he do?

I'm disappointed, I was so excited for this drama because I thought the psychopath was the FL. I thought finally, an unhinged main character but it's just a doppleganger 😩😩. I feel betrayed 😭

I watched the beginning and middle in 4×, then took my sweet time watching the last few episodes 😂😂

yh, there's this app on Google play store called sub player, it literally does what the name says but the subtitles are Ai generated so they are not very accurate but you should be able to get the hang of it.
where did you watch the fifth episode? I have been scouring the Internet for it😭😭 I don't want to wait to watch episode 5 after watching episode 4 ending 😭😭

Ep 1 of this series was very interesting. Ep 2-29 was a disappointment and Ep 30-38 was chef's kiss. I don't know how they managed that, but they did 😩😩.
Li shuang didn't look, act, talk, dress or fight like a general. Her voice was so high-pitched and who wears dangly earrings to battle 😭😭 Nothing about her looked like a general at all and I had a hard time believing that all those soilders willingly followed her to battle 😂😂
The last few episodes really delivered though, bumped up my rating because of it

Went through a bunch of comments and there are a lot of complaints. Say what you will about the plot, romance, characters etc but the comedy was top notch 😂😭 I was laughing the entire series, it's hard to find a series that does a good job balancing the serious stuff and the comedy and most times it just doesn't come out well but a dream within a dream really did a beautiful job balancing both. If you are looking for a funny drama with a serious plot, look no further 😂

I think she wasn't angry because she didn't really want to marry the guy, she was just using him. She knows who she loves and didn't choose him because he refused to go against the king.
I do understand your point, it just never crossed my mind that she was just using the marriage as an excuse.

I have never understood why people always think that the "blank expression" is because the actress cannot act. Don't you think that maybe that's how the character was written? they are some people like this in real life that don't like expressing their emotions on their faces. A lot of people tell me that I always look like I don't care about anything but I know that not true, just because someone doesn't Express their emotions on their face doesn't mean they don't feel anything. The same thing happened with the fl in blossoms of power, people said it's the actress bad acting but it just seems like that's the way the character was supposed to be. Yes, I admit that they are some instances when it's really bad acting but I think some of those characters are written that way. I may be biased because I always seem to have that expressionless face, I have just seen comments like this a lot and nobody seems to consider the fact that it might be a character trait

The FL didn't decide to marry SML just to force shen run's hand, when she told him she'll give him one last chance, she meant right now, she wanted him to choose her over the king then and he walked away Which meant he refused. FL was a hundred percent planning to go through with the wedding, wasn't it obvious? The only reason the wedding fell through was because of the two mother in laws and the kidnapping, if not she would have definitely married SML, not because she loved him but because he promised to help her get revenge. Fl wasn't waiting for shen run to stop the wedding and I'm not a hundred percent sure of this but I don't think shen run was planning to stop the wedding initially, he only came because they were trying to force her to become a concubine. I think he had the imperial edict for their marriage all along but refused to use it because he wanted her to marry him willingly and she accepted his proposal that day because well ... what was she supposed to do? Become a concubine or a nun?
It wasn't a bad drama, I really enjoyed it, the only thing I would change is increasing the number of episodes
