Wow, the mirror scene was so intense! Sky really did a great job. Also, P’Krist, you were amazing I didn’t even recognize you at first, Everyone did a great job.

I actually went back to rewatch the moments you mentioned. For the raising-hand gesture, I personally felt it matched a certain Thai comedic acting style, especially since that particular cut even went viral and became one of the entertaining points people talked about from the series.
As for the other few seconds you pointed out, they personally did not stand out to me in a negative way when viewing the performance as a whole. To me, they were very brief moments within a much bigger emotional and narrative flow, so I am not entirely sure if they alone would be enough to indicate average acting overall.
But of course, acting is also very subjective, and different viewers naturally pay attention to different details. I appreciate that you shared your thoughts respectfully, and I think Sky and his fans can stay humble while continuing to support and believe in his growth as an actor.
Is it just me or is Sky’s acting average? Was it the director who misdirected him, or was it because he was…
Niran was his most difficult role he was even hospitalized during filming. He also learned Chinese and dedicated himself to the ritual scenes, even though they were intense and involved using real chants not some random words. If you’ve read the novel, you know Niran is meant to be a serious yet a bit of micheveous character, someone who doesn't always seem like the expressive type. and he portrayed Niran very well. Nani and Sea is also doing a great job , they're definitely the highlights of this episode, please don't criticize Sky’s acting, It’s only the first episode, and his character’s depth hasn't been fully revealed yet.
Man is too handsome.
