I'm enjoying the drama. I mean it's not the best ever but the emotions and depth are fascinating. I'll happily be watching it again some day. (I've already watched the first half of the series again).
I don't mind I'm not in love with any of the characters and don't identify with them or especially care about them. In a weird way it's nice to just be separate and enjoy the mess. Life, love and relationships are often not simple and don't need to be. Easy is often boring. So for me this makes the series worth watching.
Also, ammusingly and unlike in the comments, I'd rather the series had a few more episodes so they could have fleshed out some of the side stories to make them similarily deep and also more understandable first time round.
It's a series for you to think and, although I've given up hope of it happening, I would love the main characters to realise monogamy doesn't make sense. However that is too embedded in the characters, despite the premise of taking a break, allowing them to see others, and FL wishing ML does exactly what he wants all addearing to the possibility of non-monogamy.
Don't think there's a way I will be happy if ML/FL end up together. But let's see.. Looking forward to finding out how this ends, rather than being thankful when it ends like some, and I'd be happy for a second season 😉🫰🏽🫰🏽
I hope they realise they're family and not lovers. That'll always be in each others lives but not together in that way. Whether they end up with the secondary leads isn't a big deal now and we can have a season two 🫰🏽🫰🏽
Fantastic series. Surprised it was made so recently. A great K romance. The only things missing were a proper intro (opening credits) and the big farewell at the end with all the cast and crew shown. 🫰🏽🫰🏽🫰🏽
Interestingly episode 8 rating is up with episode 1 at 6.8/6.7.
True. I haven't got into rating episodes. I did think 8 was a pretty good episode though. Mudflats fight scene was great, liked the way FL asked SML out and the bus metaphor too.
I'll just rate the series overall when it's finished. Kinda misleading to rate it already overall thinking about it.
This series is far more complex than a simple tale of adultery. It involves two people who have known each other…
Yeah they shouldn't be using others for a month. They should be open and honest with everyone involved and be open to the possibility of multiple meaningful and long term relationships.
Whether they end up together or not, Im enjoying it, and one thing is for sure this drama is not for everyone,…
Agree with ClaudiaDramaLover. To me there's strong messages of being true to yourself and not hiding things from others. I'd rather they weren't agreeing to date for a month, it should just be indefinitely and allow everyone to be honest with each other. Setting a time limit on love just doesn't make sense. They're ingrained in each others lives so why not just agree to be that as long as they want to be and be allowed to see others if they want to. It's pretty simple when we get passed that superiority complex and realise life isn't the simple monogamous box some want it to be. This series is enjoyable (although could maybe be better) in not pretending life and love is a fantasy.
After the promising first two episodes I was a bit disappointed with episode 3. I just didn't get into it that much. It was a surprise FL accepted the idea of marriage, which fundamentally isn't a bad thing because we didn't expect that. However it now looks likely they both end up cheating. I'm hoping they realise they've started to make connections with new people and instead communicate what is happening with each other and work out what to do. They aren't actively looking for someone else and have just happened to be in a situation they have had to get to know these people. So in that way it's realistic to be in that situation and aren't cheating yet. Perhaps they decide to break up, perhaps have a break and see what happens with the secondary interests. Or maybe they realise monogamy is illogical and go all in with each other 😂. Latter unlikely and I'm guessing many would hate that. I like the idea though as they clearly love each other, share a life together, that they don't want to lose, but still want that spark or new relarionship energy with someone. So why not both?! 😇
