Nah, I definitely wouldn't want to see a story where someone steals her own sister's boyfriend... and based on the tone of the story, I felt like that wasn't an option. It's just that, since they brought it into the plot as the main conflict, I was expecting more drama and a deeper story while maintaining the warm tone of the story, not for the conflict to end up meaning nothing in the end. That was never true, it was just a misunderstanding. It's so frustrating. I mean, the whole point was that Natsuki likes her sister's boyfriend. I was so interested in how they'd develop this storyline or how they'd resolve the conflict... and then, to find out that they were never actually dating and it was just a misunderstanding, I’m so disappointed. But not enough to stop watching it, you really grow attached to the characters, and besides, the visuals and cinematography are so beautiful, warm, and summery.
I just watched it bc of Higuchi Kouhei, that man is so similar to Ivan from AS, I can't. On the other hand, the acting was good by Japanese standards in the bl... but the story and the characters' relationships aren't my thing. I'd say they do a poor job of introducing the characters to us, it's very hard to empathize with them, and in my case, I didn't find the story interesting
I really appreciate the effort the lead actors put into their roles—I love it! On the other hand, some of the supporting actors... their lackluster performances really ruined it for me.
