A Disappointing "Adaptation" That Betrays Its Source

"The Legend of Rosy Clouds" is a significant disappointment. It takes a rich, award-winning story of female empowerment and reduces it to a shallow, formulaic "sugar-coated" romance. With its recycled plotlines, "infantile" logic, and questionable performances, it does a disservice not only to its source material but also to its talented cast.
