Loved the lore, location, the production value and acting (I am not looking for Oscar level in popcorn horror…
Khem had never dealt with a malevolent ghost before coz he was protected by that amulet which broke in the first episode. He does behave like a damsel in distress but that's more how he responds to these situations than saying there are inconsistencies in his character
Am I the only one who had to drop this show after episode 2?? I feel like I'm going crazy. I really thought I’d…
This is not a fast burn like 99% other BLs and the romance is handled in a different way, across three lifetimes, so ofc they're not going to be making out by ep 2. Tbh the pacing is just fine till ep 9 after which it does start to drag but overall its an excellent show, every unique even outside the BL genre. Now how you think the DV storyline should've been handled? I'm curious to know your opinions. Just judging it based on ep 2 is crazy btw, but I'm glad you stopped coz later on the story has more sensitive topics which you'd definitely not be able to stomach.
why does everyone keep saying that rao is the director? I haven't found any info backing this up
Coz in the opening scene of ep 1 he was the one directing how Ming Xuan will react to him as he's crawling towards him lol, and he's also completed his graduation from a university(forgot the name) in London and directed his own short movies/series
His real character actually isn't in the novel he's just good at disguise
What was rule no.2 again? I'm only going off based on what you and some others said before about him being psychotic and being the mc of his own novel etc 😭
You are missing out on a lot of masterpieces. I just saw someone analyze how the genre has evolved since 2020, and its for the better. Only gmmtv is still making slop now. The same company which produced this show, DMD, has another good one, Khemjira, I hope you watch it. There are a ton of shows with unique concept now, also among CBLs and KBLs.
I just finished watching it. I’ve watch a lot of zombie stuff and this is the only time where I hated everyone.…
OMG I feel so vindicated rn coz I also really wanted more people to die 😭 Like there was a good gang of like 4 people who were competent but they were killed off due to that one guy going crazy so now we're left with a bunch of idiots with plot armor. And when the cheerleader gang started singing and dancing I lost my shit coz wdym nobody died after they did that?? I skipped that part tbh it was so silly like even a child with an underdeveloped brain would know not to make noise in that situation.
