It's been a while since I was this invested in a drama

Loved this so much.

You'll find that this drama is a bit fast-paced than most dramas, but that doesn't make it any less engaging. In fact, I think its fast pace is one of the reasons it's so captivating. This is one of those rare dramas that keeps you hooked every second, and if you skip even a few minutes, you might miss something important. Because it's fast-paced, it doesn't waste your time, which makes it even more worth watching.

Now, I also wanted to leave a note regarding the criticism about the cast's age and the age gap. I've been a fan of both Hou Minghao and Ai Mi for a while. As for Ai Mi, I've seen her in several supporting roles and already knew she had the potential to become a great leading actress. It's true that I wasn't expecting her to star in this kind of romance drama at just 17, but as long as it doesn't include overly intimate scenes or excessive kissing, I think it's fine. They're actors, after all, they're simply doing their job. And despite all the criticism, just look at how successful this drama has become.

I also hope people will look at the positive side. At just 17 years old, Ai Mi was able to deliver such an amazing performance in her first leading role in a drama like this. She was incredibly captivating. She did an excellent job, even though, like any actor, there's always room to improve. As for Hou Minghao, he didn't disappoint, as always. His emotional performance was spot on. For me, the acting in this drama was top-notch. It was also refreshing to see an actress who is nearly the same age as her character portraying the role so naturally. I loved that energy.

The supporting cast was great as well. Everyone did an excellent job. The OST was so good too. This is one of the best dramas of 2026 for me. It takes you through laughter, sadness, joy, heartbreak, and so many other emotions. I highly recommend it. You'll definitely want to give it a try.

Started off so good but gradually lost that hype

The opening and first episodes of this drama really got me so hooked. It was so engageable in the first few episodes. But gradually, I don't know how to explain this, but the direction of storyline kind of changed and it somewhat became draggy and lost sense, I mean even in a fantasy drama, there should be some sense right?

But it was indeed engageable to watch when they were in that fantasy world and inside the game. There are points that you will feel as boring and have no sense, but you will also find thrilling and enjoyable parts. That's why I'm having mixed feelings about this drama. And also this is one of the few dramas of this theme and I have to say among those dramas this should be included to the "Best" list.

So, if you are into dramas like this and haven't watched this, I think you might want to give this a try. Just don't expect it to be so good like as it is in the beginning.

A Realistic Drama about College Life

Found this drama randomly. And when I watched this, neither was I a fan or had known any of the actors, so this review is not biased. This is not a drama that will impress you so much, but still it's worth watching. The thing that I liked the most is that this drama is so relatable. All four main characters and their own stories are so relatable and well portrayed. I liked how they displayed these characters and their own personalities.

And I think this drama has many life lessons in it that we all should learn. It is not a drama that has big plot twists or anything like that, it's just a normal story. But sometimes watching a normal realistic story feels refreshing too, right? I watched this drama after watching many long period dramas in a row, so this drama made me feel calm and fresh. Yes, there were some sad scenes here, but all were realistic that you could relate to them. And I liked how they worked together to overcome difficulties and supported each other. So, if you are looking for a realistic, modern drama about college life and friendships, then give this a try.

It really felt like a long night

I said it felt like a long night because everything about this drama is dark.

Whether it's the story or the overall color grading, the atmosphere is consistently dark. Some night scenes are so dim that you can't see everything clearly, but they're still bright enough to show the details that matter. Whether it's day or night, the visuals always feel darker than in most dramas, which perfectly matches the tone of the story.

The acting is top-notch here, especially Bai Yu's. His performance felt incredibly real and emotional.

One thing I really liked was how determined the characters were to solve the case, with some of them even sacrificing their own lives for it. Sadly, crimes like this are not uncommon in real life. What's uncommon are people like Jiang Yang, Zhu Wei, and the others. The drama does a great job of showing why many good people choose to stay silent, it's simply beyond their power, and if they get involved, they risk destroying not only their own lives but also their families. Only people like Jiang Yang and Zhu Wei would be willing to risk everything. And even then, their lives were ruined despite eventually bringing justice to the case. Imagine dying as someone with no status, no achievements, and a criminal record, only for the truth to come out and justice to be served after your death. That was heartbreaking.

Another thing I loved was how the drama handled multiple timelines simultaneously. It seamlessly switched between two or three different timelines without making the story confusing, and everything came together perfectly in the end.

I highly recommend this drama to anyone who enjoys crime and mystery. It's emotional, gripping, and definitely worth watching.

The Best Military Drama Ever

A Masterpiece!!

I never expected to be so engaged in a military drama. But this drama did it. The plot, acting, fighting, character development, emotions; all were on point. Another thing that I like about this drama is that the plot is so realistic.

An important thing to say, don't expect any romance here. In the cast, it might seem like that Li Yi Tong is the female lead. There's indeed that kind of thing hinted at some point of the drama, but trust me, it has no romance. And she didn't appear in the drama much either, only a few times and nothing special. I couldn't figure out why she is there, 2nd in the cast list, many supporting characters had more screen time than hers. Anyway this is a great drama with great team bond and brotherhood, but not romance.

You should definitely try this. Highly recommended.
