This drama is probably one of the worst script I've ever watched so far. I've watched countless of revenge dramas, especially Thai dramas, they always deliver although the ML and FL were the biggest red flag. The drama still worked and deliver. For Overdo, it could have been a great dramas but it’s still all over the place. The side character really had no depth and body but just to server the ML and FL. Li Bozer could had just told Qingyi everything but still he's being wishy-washy. Hurting Qingyi and drag the story more. Ren SuSu is really a damsel in distress because according to her character, she was supposed to be someone who's admirable but instead it's hard to connect to her character. All this back and forth bickering with Qingyi is making no sense.
I know I will get hate for saying this but until now, I still can't see the connection from ML and FL. They have no chemistry. It's like they're just their to deliver their roles as Ren SuSu and Qingyi. I guess the only memorable scene so far is when Qingyi and his mother's ended their relationship. When Qingyi stabbed himself to end the family tied. Zheng Linghe's acting really shine and deliver there. He even has more chemistry with Myolie Wu. You can feel the angust, resentment, and maybe love hates from both character. Their emotional turmoil. I really enjoy his performances with Myolie Wu. Well, I'm still gonna continue to keep watching until the end to see how it unfold.
Love Zheng Linghe after watching POJ. I am so looking forward to The Road To Glory with Xiao Li. I hope the director doesn't butcher the drama and kept it original as the novel. Let him shine because I think he has a lot of potential as an actor, thought I have to admit his acting is still quite limited. He's needs to work more on his facial expressions.

It's my opinion on the drama so far. I've watched it to episode 20 and still waiting for episode 21 to release. I see their struggles and what horrible life both ML and FL live through. The romance make no sense to me. It’s like reading a wattpad fanfic so I'm now more interested to see how both characters story unfold. The overly dramatic plot is not plotting for me as well but I'll still continue watching it because I've already followed it this far. I won't elaborate more.
This drama is all over the place. It has so much potential but somehow feels so wattpad and flat. It’s also very predictable. Everything about ML and FL makes no sense at all. It’s just too dramatic. But I'll still watch it to see how it'll end.
I've discovered Lin Yun through The Road to Glory and was drawn to her. I've just finished watching some of her works and love her a lot. She’s very pretty and love her subtle not over the top acting. I love her performance in The Footprints of Change so much. She give such an amazing performance. I would love to see her and Ryan Cheng collaborate again. She's becoming one of my favorite Chinese actresses. I’m not so familiar with the new generation of actresses because I'm more into the older generation actors. Lin Yun is one i find that possessed the classic 90's actresses beauty and aura. I’m so looking forward to see her as Wen Yu, princess of the Great Liang.
I can’t wait for the drama to air. Xiao Li and Wen Yu were my most anticipated couple and Drama. I love the novel so much and hope the production keep it original like the novel. First time seeing Lin Yun through this drama and she was stunning. She look so majestic in those behind the scenes clips.
