Fresh concept, forced narrative
The drama is a slice-of-life genre mixed with others, as the narrator tells us at the beginning, principally rom-com and action. I think it’s a fresh proposal. The actors manage every “genre” very well, and overall I liked their acting. Ha Young is very charismatic, BUT at the ending she was very childish, and I didn’t liked that. I think the ending has a very predictable “plot twist” and poor romance, like the JB song “as long as you love me”: “we could be starving, we could be homeless, we could be broke” haha. And it feels like propaganda, I mean the protagonist is her, but in some way he is the motor and the centre of the whole story. Also, I think the drama pushes the message of “marry/babies/family is the best of life”, and it feel a little forced. Was this review helpful to you?
