As a fan of angst stories, this speaks to my soul.
The hate for this drama is so forced. For those who hated this drama u were too harsh.
Horrible FL? It's character development. Sadly, this drama didn't show much of the part where they were together in high school; they went through trauma and pain.
Cold ML? Everything happens for reasons, don't forget how charming Song Yan was before breaking up with Xu Qin.
Second chance? It's always been my favorite trope.
If u dont like these kinds of plots or characters, i guess FOMH is not for you. I personally loved this drama way too much, the conflicts were way too relatable to real life.
My Song Yan remains a good man to his family and dignity. I even rewatched episode 23 many times, i cried ugly and giggled dumbly watching them have a happy ending. My parents <8
I strongly recommend u guys listen to the OST 灯火万家 by Wang Heye!
