I'm loving this season.I'm genuinely surprised by how differently people are reading this season from me and I…
What exactly baffles you? It has nothing to do with age, culture, or projection. It’s common sense. Also what are you loving about this season?! Are you seriously trying to elevate yourself here just to bring up your “pleasure of writing”? Lmao, what is this? The genre is romance. More specifically, it’s a romance where there’s a lack of communication from one side, along with a lack of respect for his partner and unresolved trauma. Your so called high tolerance for this type of relationship is showing that you’re clearly the example of an older audience that normalizes this kind of behavior, seeing it as nothing more than flaws that spice up the relationship in the end. Which, ironically, proves that being older doesn’t necessarily mean being wiser. Japan is known for promoting this kind of toxicity in its productions, especially ending it without resolving their unhealed issues. It’s true that not every relationship is ideal and that happiness in couple is something subjective. I’ll give you that. On the other hand, enjoying this type of toxicity and moreover playing the “mature” card here and presenting yourself as this elevated viewer with such a “complex perspective” that most certainly won’t be understood by all these “immature” fellow viewers? Be for real. You need a reality check, because ain’t no way you’re trying to turn this series into a reason to make that point. 💀
Update for today’s episode. What in the actual F?! Iwanaga propose randomly when he didn’t resolve shi. As if it wasn’t enough that poor Miyata hit rock bottom with all of his exes and everything going wrong at work, mf Iwanaga meets his most beloved ex behind his back to help with the book and has the nerve to play the victim card when he gets called out about his ex?! How his ex saved him, how literally everything is about him. In other words, this man is incapable of making anything about anyone but himself. Moreover, we find out that the watch is a couple’s watch?! Excuse you?! That assistant of his should call his beloved teacher the biggest bish ever, because ain’t no way. The audacity and selfishness this man has are actually insane. I think the most accurate scene that describes his guts is when Miyata told Iwanaga that he’s used to having everything come easy to him. Just a selfish and obnoxious bastard. I hope they don’t end up together, even though deep down I know that won’t be the case lol.
Love is certainly not better the second time around if this is how this mf Iwanaga still hides things from his so called “biggest love” and actual lover. Why the hell was he so flustered when he saw that old man? And why in the hell is he still wearing a watch that was gifted to him by another ex? He’s not mature in any way, and the way he’s portrayed is certainly far from the truth. His actions have proved that. He’s just a man addicted to the feeling of being wanted, most likely as a result of his past family trauma, and he clearly needs therapy. A lot of it seems to stem from his fear of abandonment. He’s acting like a teenager who wants to keep experimenting with different types of guys, while constantly playing the availability card. He doesn’t set clear boundaries, clings to objects his exes gave him, and does all of this while he’s in a relationship with someone else. In his madness, he doesn’t even realize that his actions make Miyata extremely uneasy and even more insecure than he already was, instead of making him feel safe and secure as his partner. As for Miyata, he needs to work on his self-esteem and learn to value himself more. He also needs to set some clear boundaries. It’s honestly annoying that he doesn’t see these things as insulting or disrespectful, but instead worries about looking desperate in front of his boyfriend. Bffr, have some self esteem.
