In my view, this is what some might call "karma"—the idea that even after a debt is paid under the law, if it isn't truly settled, its effects can echo forward. That said, I don't think she should have to answer for something she didn't do herself.

I'd like to see Season 2 give Princess Huai Qing a main role opposite the male lead, and reduce the role of Princess Lin An, to better reflect the novel. Also, actress Tian Xi Wei is more famous now, so she might not have as much time for filming.
I'm hoping that at the end of this drama, the two of them will break up because the man deserves better. Personally, I'd rather stay single than marry someone who's been unfaithful.
