Weak directing
Main leads are good, Soo Bin is great, but the directing for them, and the show overall, doesn't capcure the RomCom vibe. The shots linger for too long, the sets are a bit empty-looking, and actors are overdoing the comedic bits, which doesn't quite add up to the direction and editing the show overall has. With faster-paced editing, or more comedic intercuts (like in Business Proposal, or Secretary Kim), it could've been one of the greats. But as it stands, it's a bit too slow, methodical, and boring, for what it tries to be. I blame directing and editing, because the script itself made sense to me, and actors did ok for what they were expected.
