I want to love this drama so bad but my frustration is through the roof. The whitewashing they've done to Luan Nian as a character is crazy. They've kept minor parts of his rudeness but in the novel, he was 100% the one to want a FWB relationship only and makes it clear to her multiple times. Here, it seems like he wants a real relationship whereas she is the non-committal one. He also got his girl best friend flowers on purpose and not the accidental thing they showed. If you read the novel, the changes and the pacing of the drama will bother you more. In case anyone hasnt, it's probably best to just enjoy the drama for what it is.
