💀💀 bye, what’s the point of arguing with someone who’s clearly just here to hate and didn’t even try to understand what they were watching. i never said the show was above criticism, but there’s a difference between criticizing the execution and dismissing an entire character arc as pointless. dean’s backstory gave us more insight into his character and why he struggles with his emotions, so maybe take a moment to process what actually happened before calling it useless. you can dislike the show all you want, but acting like there’s absolutely nothing to the story just because it didn’t work for you is a different thing altogether. that still doesn’t mean the people who connected with the story are blindly defending bad writing

did we watch the same show 💀 anyways, you’re entitled to your opinion, but i genuinely hope you take the time to process everything that happened and understand why certain scenes played out the way they did. not everything needs to be spoon-fed to the audience. sometimes you have to actually sit with the story instead of dismissing everything that doesn’t immediately make sense to you. and imagine watching 9 episodes of a show you supposedly find this boring and insufferable 😭 i could never spend this much time on something i hate, but you do you i guess hahaha

also, william and est did such a great job this episode. william’s improvement is honestly insane, and the way he portrayed dean’s pain, especially in that breakdown scene, was so good. you could feel how much dean had been holding inside, and the way he sobbed in moth’s arms made the emotions feel so raw and real. now i’m lowkey hoping their next series is an angst drama because i NEED to see them in a gut-wrenching story. after seeing what they can do with these characters, i know they’d absolutely slay it 😩

just finished watching ep 9 and wow. we finally got dean’s backstory, and it was so much more heartbreaking than i expected. i honestly thought he was bullied or something, but i never expected it to be this. everything about his fear of attachment and why he keeps people at a distance makes so much more sense now. i literally cried watching this episode because i somehow relate to dean, how he acts so nonchalant on the outside but is actually such a sensitive person underneath it all.

and that scene where dean finally broke down the moment he saw moth and hugged him while sobbing so hard??? that absolutely destroyed me. he’d been holding so much inside, trying to keep himself together, and the moment he saw moth, it was like he finally had someone he could fall apart in front of. it made me think about how hard it must be for someone like dean, who is so used to keeping people at a distance, to finally let someone see him at his most vulnerable. i also relate to moth and how he doesn’t always know how to comfort someone, even when he genuinely cares. he might not always have the right words, but he still stays and lets dean lean on him. sometimes that’s all a person needs.

i agree, they use too much of a smoothing effect too 😭 i think they called dean a red flag because he was kinda love bombing moth in the first few eps, and he does have anger issues 🤷🏻‍♀️ i was also expecting more toxic behavior from him, but i guess they’re trying to portray a different kind of red flag. still, i wish they had shown more of it instead of just telling us he is one.

currently watching love you teacher and so far, so gooodd! i'm on ep 3 right now, and i really like the plot. it feels different from what gmmtv usually puts out, which makes it more interesting to watch. the story has me curious about what's going to happen next, and both actors are doing a good job with their characters so far. i'll continue watching after my exams!

also, i don’t understand why people are bringing up other series here. this is not the space to promote your series loll. the ones you guys keep mentioning are so different from this series, so why even compare them? if those series are doing well, then good for them, but why come here just to say hateful things? the bl community has become so toxic nowadays. i can’t with you guys.

dean has some moments with his family, but i still don't understand why he turned out the way he is today. i need his backstory juseyo. was he bullied? or was he just lonely? what happened to himmm? i need to knowwww. and it seems like he has issues with his father too, judging by the way they act around each other... hopefully they show us in the remaining 2 eps

the scream i let out when i saw moth’s painting 😭 this episode was so romantic. they made us think we were getting some toxic, red-flag kind of story when, in reality, dean and moth are just two individuals with their own issues, fears, and struggles. they’re flawed, they make mistakes, and they’re trying to figure themselves out, and that’s what makes their story so relatable. well, they did label it as a romcom lmaoooo.

moth spent so long cocooning himself from the world, building walls and defense mechanisms to protect himself from getting hurt. but look at him now. the butterflies he kept painting were always a reflection of the freedom he longed for. the freedom to create, to love, to dream, and to be unapologetically himself. and now, he’s finally letting go of the things that held him back and learning to fly with his own wings. he’s choosing himself, his art, and the person he loves. the symbolism is so beautiful because moth was always painting the freedom he couldn’t give himself, until he finally found the courage to live it.

and dean being the person who helped him get there makes everything even more meaningful. hearing est explain that dean was the one who helped moth overcome his obstacles and stop doubting himself made me emotional. dean didn’t just help moth believe in his art; he helped him believe in himself. and the painting scene says so much about what dean means to moth. when dean asked if he could buy the painting, moth said he could simply paint another one. because at the end of the day, the painting wasn’t what mattered most to him. it was the person standing right in front of him. it was dean. fckkkkk

i love that their relationship isn’t about one person magically fixing the other. it’s about meeting someone who makes you feel safe enough to face the things you’ve been running from, someone who reminds you that you’re capable of more than you think. dean became that person for moth, and moth finally allowed himself to be seen, to be loved, and to choose the life he wanted. ep 8 really made me appreciate this story on another level. they’re not perfect, but they’re trying.

you can disagree with someone’s opinion without acting like people are stupid for enjoying something you didn’t like. i genuinely enjoy the story, the acting, and the characters. calling it mediocre and forgettable doesn’t make your opinion more objective than mine. let people enjoy something without trying so hard to ruin it for them.

wow, this is actually amazing. i think this is the kind of series you need to watch continuously to understand the plot better. i just hope we get to see more of their backstory in the remaining eps and more sweet moments for deanmoth. i just love how they're finding peace in each other. can parbdee stop cutting their kisses, i need to see more TT ps: i hope ppl give this a chance and dont let others negative opinions stop u from watching..
