And honestly, your insecurities are showing. 😭 Are you projecting whatever feelings you have about your own show onto ours?

Because here’s the difference: you don’t see us going under posts about your show just to tell everyone how “mediocre” it is, how another show is better, or how its rating is supposedly a joke.

And you know why?

Because we actually believe in our show.

We don’t need to tear down someone else’s series to validate the one we enjoy. You can love Mr. Fanboy. You can prefer DMD. You can think #YouManiacSeries is a 5, a 6, or a 10.

But repeatedly coming into conversations about a show you supposedly don’t like just to diminish it says a lot more about your investment in the conversation than it does about the quality of the show. 😭

Maybe enjoy your show instead of obsessing over ours. 💀

Also, for future reference, why not spend your time focusing on the companies and series you actually enjoy instead of camping under posts about these supposedly “mediocre” GMMTV shows? 😭

Because if the show is really that mediocre to you, yet you keep coming back to talk about it, argue about it, and “poke the bear,” then maybe the show isn’t the one holding your attention hostage. 💀

At this point, you’re not watching the show. you’re watching the fandom.

And calling it “having fun” doesn’t change the fact that you’re clearly seeking attention. 😂

And yet here we are… discussing an 8.7-rated show while you’re simultaneously arguing that the actors are the only reason people are enjoying it. 😭

You’re absolutely entitled to think the story is average, but “people only rate it highly because of WilliamEst” is an assumption about everyone else’s opinion—not an objective fact.

Some people are rating it highly because they like the writing, character development, dialogue, pacing, AND the performances. You may not connect with those elements, and that’s perfectly fine.

But reducing everyone else’s enjoyment to “they’re only here for the actors” just because they don’t share your assessment is doing a lot more work than the a ctual criticism. 😭

And if your argument is that it hasn’t proven itself to be an 8.7 show yet… ratings are literally viewers’ collective assessments at a particular point in time. There’s no BL Rating Committee sitting somewhere waiting for the plot to complete before issuing the Official 8.7 Certificate. 💀

If you’re coming into someone’s series specifically to leave a negative comment about something the majority is clearly enjoying, you’ve already told us everything we need to know about YOUR intentions.

What is it exactly about the story and the script that’s not keeping you interested?

Yes. You Maniac Series is so worth the watch. It’s not a typical red flag story. The characters actually have character development and layers. The chemistry if off the chart and the way the mains portrays the characters are so on point

You Maniac is one of those shows where you really have to pay attention because so much is being communicated beneath the obvious storyline. The body language, expressions, dialogue, little pauses—there are so many details that add depth to these characters.

And WilliamEst are absolutely EATING these roles up. 👏🏾 Their performances make you want to analyze every interaction because there’s clearly more happening than what’s being said out loud. And BarcodeKin are doing such a great job too!

People are going to realize later that they missed half the story because they were too busy focusing on the surface. 😂😭
